Staff was very nice and fairly knowledgeable. There is no gluten free fryer. Telling your server that you have a gluten allergy (unsure if they would know about celiac) is a must. They used a separate pan for my food and I did not get sick. Service is slow.

I’m celiac and ate here safely, but beware the shared fryer. Lots of fried items on the menu. Still, plenty of great, well-marked options and the salads/veggies/grilled foods were delicious.

I have been coming here for years. My favorite Mexican restaurant in L.A. They are very conscientious as a restaurant. The servers however are not all trained to understand what celiac disease or a gluten intolerance is. When I place my order- I specify what I need as a person with celiac. I specify what I need when I order to stay safe. By and large they are really great. The food is delicious and they take pride in serving high quality food . The inconsistency with server knowledge brings it a less than perfect score .

Careful with the GF items on the menu, they have a shared fryer where they cook gluten containing food, so chips and fries are cross contaminated. Still, they are knowledgeable and the food was good. But tricky if you don't ask or just trust the GF on the menu.

Called the manager in advance and she was amazing, they put a note on my reservation and came to talk to me while I was there. Chips are not GF, however you can order them with veggies and they were some of the freshest vegetables I have ever had. Almost everything on the menu can be modified and assured gluten free, they will use a separate pan and cooking equipment to heat your tortillas for tacos. The food was AMAZING, everyone in our group of four was impressed. Definitely will be our new go to place.
