Knowledgeable staff, and pretty much everything is gluten free as long as you do corn tortillas.

Visiting from out of town, and this had to be one of my favorite places. Most of the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free when they exclude the flour tortilla. I got the fried fish tacos and they were pretty average. They have a dedicated fryer because all things fried are GF. The appetizer and churros were the stars. The street corn dip was delicious! The churros are more like donuts and less like churros - still very good!! Hope to come back soon!

Almost everything can be gluten free. I'm very sensitive and it's hard to find places I can eat without getting sick. Having said that, the food was mediocre at best. I really didn't like the churros. I'd eat here in a pinch, but not for fun.

Yum!! Such a yummy stop for fun mini tacos!! I’ve gone several times over the years and I’ve never had an issue. Staff has always been knowledgeable. The few times they weren’t sure, they verified. Be sure to get the Churros/donuts. So good!

I love this restaurant. Even though they don’t have a gluten free menu I have never been sick after and I do tell them that I want corn tortillas because of a gluten allergy.

It was our first family dinner out post-pandemic and diagnosis, and we very intentionally chose @taqueria27 because almost their whole menu is gluten-free. The only thing that isn’t is flour tortillas, corn tortillas can be substituted on all menu items, and fryer is dedicated gluten-free. It was an even better experience than expected, when our server’s immediate response to me telling her my daughter has celiac was, “Me too.”
My daughter got quesadillas that were delicious, though she wouldn’t know it since she decided to eat a dinner of chips and guac...resorting to just guac when chips ran out.

The tacos we had were so good!! And the churros were gluten free!!!! I’VE NEVER HAD CHURROS BEFORE!! Most items on the menu are gluten free except the gorgonzola and flour tortillas, which they will switch out for corn :)))

Food is average. GF churros are good. 4 stars because most of the menu is GF. Went 2 times. Both times had flies buzzing around, not a deal breaker but annoying.

I wanted SO BADLY for Taqueria to work for me! This was one of my favorite places before I was diagnosed. I will usually black list a place after glutening me just once, but it gets such good reviews from other celiacs! I was glutened two times in a row from eating tacos, even after much reassurance from the wait staff. The salad is safe, but I won’t risk the tacos ever again.
Best churros ever!! I didn’t even like churros when I could eat gluten. Now though? I want them all the time!!!

Super amazing staff and food! Our server knew all the gluten free options, which is pretty much all of them, and was able to explain how there wasn’t any cross contamination.
I am super sensitive and didn’t get sick at all.
Tacos were amazing the the churros are a must try!
I will definitely be going back again.

WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about gluten. I could eat the chips and salsa all day! We ended up getting the enchiladas which were super tasty. Next time we are in the Salt Lake area we will for sure go back!!

Our celiac daughter loved her tacos & chips. Churros are all GF too! Her first ever churro!

Nice for a date night (I did see a few kids, but it seems more modern than family), menu is marked with “GF” (I’ll include photos), and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our server mentioned two different fryers that never come in contact with gluten and basically anything can be made gluten free. I’ve heard from several people that Taqueria 27 is good and safe, so I was excited to try everything—especially the churros. I make churros at home, and I must admit the churros here were disappointing. I don’t know if they were made with buckwheat flour or something, but they tasted a little off. The chocolate sauce was good, but the whipped cream didn’t have any sugar in it. The food was beautiful but definitely not large portion sizes, and everything was a bit underseasoned. Even just having a salt shaker on the table would have helped. We got nacho fries as an appetizer, and they were probably the best thing we had, but also a little underseasoned. I got the Achiote Marinated Fried Chicken Breast Tacos and my husband got the Chile-Citrus Carnitas Tacos. The fried chicken was maybe a bit dry and needed salt, but I was still excited to say I had fried chicken. The carnitas had fries inside. I think I probably liked the fried chicken tacos more, but they weren’t fantastic. Overall, the food was fairly good, beautiful, not filling, and needed more seasoning. But it was a fun date and our server was very nice. I’d come again.
