Review of Taqueria Guanajuato

If you want delicious, authentic Mexican, this is your place. My husband is Mexican-American and from El Paso, where we met and lived for years. This is where we go when he needs a little taste of home. I haven't asked any questions about celiac concerns here, I've just made educated guesses. I don't ask about cross contamination - it's a tiny kitchen, it's happening, but I haven't gotten sick yet. I've had the chicken and carnitas tacos; they come on corn tortillas, as all authentic tacos should! Their refried beans are my favorite in NWA and the rice is so simple but so good. You must try their amazing elotes en vaso - corn in a cup with lime juice, cream and white cheese. Oh lord, so much butter, and sooooo good. The aguas frescas are wonderful. I love the melón (cantaloupe). Give it a try!
