Review of Tautog's Restaurant

Very disappointed considering how many good reviews this place had. I even called before we went to make sure they were clear on the gluten free part of this. They SOUNDED really knowledgeable. This was not the case when we arrived. The waiter had NO clue about gluten. They had no gluten free adult drink options, unlike many others on the beach. Waiter kept telling me "sure, it looks vegertarian, right?" I kept correcting him. ..GLUTEN...NOT vegetarian. He would shrug. I double checked with each course and he would say "umm, ya" when I'd say this is gluten free right? . Unrelated to the gluten issue, also "didn't think" sodas had free refills for my daughter AND rounded the bill up when he brought my change. Abbey Road....they had their stuff together!!! MUCH better option!!!
