Review of Tautog's Restaurant

Lots of choices. Always ask questions if concerns with their prep. I wanted shrimp and grits but wasn't sure what to ask to ensure that it really was gluten free. I had the Mahi and it was wonderful. So far no ill effects. The wait time was about 30-40 min and we got there about 6;20pm in sept. The waitress was wonderful and helped create an option for my dairy:egg free toddler at a reduced menu rate as they do not have a kids menu. All their normal things they offer kids he couldn't eat. I have never had a place create a price for something and that made me happy to not pay full menu price for a piece of chicken! My meal of a large piece of Mahi and red potatoes was $18.95.... Pricey but average for beach. Happy with portion size. Meal came quickly. They also had one option for dessert but I did not try it. My non allergy/non celiac family likes their meals as well.

I am not saying it is celiac friendly as I did not confirm the preparation.
