I had a horrible experience here. The waiter assured me that the vegetarian burger and mashed potatoes were gluten free, and I ordered a gluten free bun as well. I made sure to specify that it was for an allergy. Nevertheless, I became violently ill a few hours later due to glutening. I'm not very sensitive to cross contamination, so I had to eat a LOT of gluten to get the reaction I did. Also, they do NOT have dedicated fryers like a previous review claimed. Overall, I definitely do not recommend eating here.

We ate at Ted’s Montana for the first time this month and had an incredible experience. The restaurant is clean, the staff beyond friendly. They even had a dedicated gluten free menu and the staff new exactly how to handle my food. I ordered a bison bacon cheese burger that was absolutely divine. My husband enjoyed an amazing bison brisket. They had amazing pickles for an appetizer. Could not say enough great things. We’ll be back for sure.

Been to Teds several times, food is great and never had any reactions!

Great quality food. They have a separate fryer for fries. Haven’t gotten sick

My go-to for a great gf meal! I do cedar planked salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Or a bison burger with gf bun. Always fantastic and I never get sick.
I was diagnosed with celiac just a week ago. I decided to venture out to Ted's for my first attempt at gluten free restaurant dining. It was a great choice. They have a separate menu which even points out what to ask them to remove when ordering. It's been almost three hours since we finished and I feel great so they must have followed the rules with cross contamination. I will definitely head back there again. Low stress and great food!

They do have a separate GF menu, and it's great. Lots of protein choices and sides. I had the Canyon Creek burger without a bun, and it was like a full entree dish... Almost like having a steak eating with a fork and knife! I will for sure be back. I forgot to ask for no croutons on my salad, an the server didn't catch it- do I had to carefully pick them out. Just remember!
Although they do not have a gluten specific menu, they have tons the can prepare gluten free, and they are very kind and work really hard to accommodate GF people.
They were AMAZING! When we were seated we asked for a gf menu. Our waitress made it a point to ask if we were gf for health reasons or by choice. It was nice! Usually people assume it's by choice, but she made sure to make sure everything was separated out because of my celiac disease! They were even very attentive for being so busy! Definitely will be back!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. Just wanted the big sky salad with salmon off the gluten free menu. Side of fries which was great so that gets 2 stars. Salad came with croutons from a different wait person who didn't care so much. Our waiter did bring me a new one but this one had cheese which is also asked about because I have a dairy allergy. At this point they're never brought husband his mustard and we had to flag down the hostess to help get a new salad. Manager comes and asks if she can use same salmon because it will take long. I'm not anaphylactic and I check it and say sure, it's not touching cheese. We'll I finally get my salad no croutons and no cheese. The salmon was half raw. I ate around the raw middle - so hungry. Manager had already Said she'd comp my salad but what a disaster. There was nothing to indicate my food was allergy friendly. Servers who brought food out had no idea. Just not many protocols in place to verify what they are serving. But I would bring my daughter for the fries if we traveled here again but my husband wasn't impressed with his burger so it wouldn't be for the food.

The waiter was very knowledgeable about cross contact and even stopped by after I had started eating to make sure everything was okay and I wasn't having any issues. Before I could even ask, she offered to have them cook my meal in a clean pan or on foil.
I can't say for sure that it was 100% safe since I'm fairly asymptomatic celiac but I felt very comfortable eating there and had a high confidence that my food was safe.

I ordered a salad without the croutons and added grilled chicken. I haven't had a reaction. The waiter seemed knowledgeable about allergies and said that my food would be handled carefully. It did take a long time to get our food, but the salad was good.
