I read the reviews here before going and have to say I’m really disappointed. The food was awful and made me sick. The waitress looked frustrated when I asked for gluten free chips and then came to ask what we wanted so I asked what options were gluten free and THEN she brought out the menu. This restaurant is not celiac safe and is absolutely not good enough for even the risk.
Although they don't have an official gf menu, the manager came out to walk me through what I could and could not eat safely. He also told the kitchen. This is an offshoot of Ted's Escondido restaurants so it's more gluten friendly, than gluten free. Chips are made in a shared fryer. I had two soft corn tortilla tacos and had no issues.
Wet tacos, queso, and salsa are all gluten free and they have gluten free chips when requested.
