My first time going here I asked if the chips were safe for me to eat, asking if they were gluten free and in a separate fryer from everything else. I was told yes so I’ve been eating them ever since, also told steak is gluten free. About my 5th time going here I asked like I do every time and was told no they’re not safe and they’re made in the same fryer as breaded jalapeño poppers. Also told the steak is marinated in beer therefore not gluten free. The “manager” that came over to answer my questions had no idea about anything, told me the rice that says gluten free next to it on the menu isn’t gluten free because “that’s what other customers tell her”. Has no actual knowledge about anything, just bases her answers from what customers have told her. Ridiculous and very frustrating experience

Hidden gem in Vermilion! Authentic Mexican menu, and the server was more than happy to accommodate my request for corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas with my meal selection. The food was outstanding- my partner and I were still taking about it the next day! This is a family-friendly bar/restaurant. There isn’t any GF labeling on the menu, but it clearly describes what is in each dish. Substitution requests were met with a smile.
