Terra Rustica

Delicious Italian food, and a dedicated GF Menu. I don’t usually visit Italian restaurants as that is my background, and I always feel I can cook better at home.

That being said, I love the ambiance, and the wait service is par excellence! The food is quite good (even if I do say so myself), and prices are on par with the service and quality provided.

I live about 30 minutes away, so I wish it was a bit closer to where I live, but the trip is well worth the effort. You don’t see many restaurants offering as comprehensive a GF Menu as Terra Rustica, and I am extremely grateful that they put as much care and thought into their menu as they do!

*Update* I used to come here all the time but last time I ordered take out, I suspected my pasta was not gf. I tested it twice on my Nima and it detected gluten both times. I called them to tell them and they offered to deliver me a new meal and reassured me that the pasta they gave me was gf. Obviously there was cross contamination, at the very least. So unfortunate.

Great GF menu that includes chicken parm, fried calamari, and pizza. Staff is very flexible and helpful. I have eaten here many, many times and have been fine. They recently started labeling their takeout orders with “Terra Rustica Gluten Free Meal” stickers.

We’ve always loved Terra Rustica in the past. The gf items come marked with a sticker. However, last evening we were suspicious the the gf pasta we ordered as a side was not gluten free as they did not come marked with a sticker. We tested the pasta with our Nima and it was not gf. We emailed them about this and did not hear back. Unfortunately, the trust we had in them is lost and we won’t be ordering from them again.

Spouse has celiacs and many of the items advertised as GF were not actually gf (shared fryer, no way to avoid cross contamination). Disappointing/unsafe on that end and absolutely horrid management to boot.

Lots of gluten free options! The waiter was very knowledgeable. I had the best chicken parm I have ever had!

Many gluten free options, including chicken parm and gluten free pasta. Separate gluten free menu, plus our server made a customized salad upon our request. Gluten free food is prepared deliciously in a separate cooking station. You can dine either on their wonderful outdoor patio or indoors.
