Review of The Auslander

I had to go to Fredericksburg for an errand, and I was not looking forward to my usual “lunch” on the road…Coke Zero and either a bag of Fritos or a Kind bar. My husband wanted to go to one of Fredericksburg’s restaurants and I said, “and where can I get something to eat!” He found this app, and then found Auslander. It sounded perfect.

It was better than that. They even have gluten free hard cider, though I chose an imported Riesling to go with my “currywurst”, a brat NOT cooked in beer, but with ketchup with curry in it. Apparently a fave German street food! Awesome service, knowledgeable staff, and even GF hot German potato salad.

We are fans for life. It was so nice to eat like a normal person, in a restaurant that takes GF VERY seriously. Try it!!!
