We just happened to be driving through the area and needed to find somewhere to eat and The Barn Pub & Grille was highly rated for safety on this app so we decided to give it a try. It has a great pub atmosphere, yummy food and a separate GF menu : ) The owner and staff are knowledgeable with GF considerations. I spoke to the owner (Leo) for a bit to thank him for having such a wide GF menu and taking such care to avoid cross-contamination. He explained that his son has been celiac since he was a baby, so for the past 20+ years they have been preparing foods that are GF and celiac-friendly and completely understand the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. Our waiter explained that the folks in the kitchen must change gloves before preparing GF items and they also have a dedicated fryer!! My honey and I live over 2 hrs away but we will gladly take the trip back!!! (p.s. We ordered the chili nachos and Buffalo tenders off of the GF menu and they were fantastic!)
