I was diagnosed back in 1997. I thought ANY type of German Bier/Beer Garden would not be an option. Then I just happened to find The Bier Garden in the Find Me Gluten Free app. WOO HOO!

As mentioned in other reviews they do have GF items listed. However, what they should do is list those items as they could be modified to be GF.

The waitress and kitchen staff did so much to make sure I was safe. They really went above and beyond to do so. I was VERY impressed! So much so that the "gluten alert" we're all familiar with was relaxed and I could relax and be with my family

Also noted in other reviews ask questions! I suspected the mushroom gravy that came with the Schweinehaxe, slow roasted pork knuckle served with Mushroom Gravy on the side, was 1. cooked in beer and 2. the gravy was flour based. In other words, don't order any of the GF items without asking questions first and/or telling them you're GF/CD. They'll modify accordingly.

Thankfully I had a good time with my family and a good (modified) meal. Bonus: no reaction. So they did all the right things!
