Staff was very friendly, but I didn’t get a chance to eat the food.
I ordered a gluten free bagel sandwich and they were out of gluten free bagels, but they also stated that there’s no protocols for cross contamination and didn’t seem comfortable making anything once I mentioned having a gluten allergy. I ended up picking food up for the rest of my family and while watching them make other orders they make all orders right on counter surfaces without putting anything down so now I understand why they were weary when I asked for changed gloves, fresh knives to cut bagel, etc. I wouldn’t recommend here for anyone who is symptomatic when it comes to cross contact or anyone with an allergy or celiac.
Their gluten free bagels do come in pre sliced so you could ask them to change gloves and put one in a bag just to take home and make yourself, but other than that do not recommend.
Very good experience! The two owners were very attentive. Nick Liberator and Mike Dalewitz. The waitress checked to make sure I wasn’t celiac she said if I was they would accommodate. Plus the owners said they are being careful to accommodate people with allergies. I had a sandwich on a gluten free everything bagel. The Borscht Belt breakfast sandwich.
