This review is specifically about the breakfast buffet served in the Terrace (which is included for Buccaneer guests).
There is a separate gluten free area with assorted gluten free breads and bagels. It is spaced away from other food tables and includes its own toaster that is marked gluten free only!
The variety of breakfast food is very strong and they will change up some core foods every day while keeping a daily flow of the breakfast foods you may have come to love and expect.
No reactions for my spouse (Celiac) from the bacon, scrambled eggs, sliced fruits, and GF bagels.
Very happy with the breakfast - also a nice juice selection (pineapple, guava, orange, cranberry). The staff is great

Called ahead and talked with a manager and chef. Stated they had many options that were GF. Asked specific questions about a few menu items. When I arrived for the reservation, they sent us from one restaurant to another. Called manager back and explained that I had communicated with a chef at a different restaurant and they said, “so? At least you received a seat.” I explained I had food restrictions and it wasn’t safe for me to just eat somewhere without research. They were completely unbothered. I felt that they were not taking my situation seriously and left. Would not recommend to someone with Celiac or allergy or who is sensitive.

Explore the restaurants and call first. Its the smart and polite thing to do to call first. Its a first class resort. They serve high quality food in a beautiful setting. And my sense is that the Buc is on it. It’s been over 34 hours now and I’m good!! Better than i can say about most continental cities. Cmon. we’re talking about a Celiac on vacation. And anyone who loves a Celiac knows: best for my child wife daughter son grandmother grandfather mother-in-law to not get sick while in St. Croix or anywhere...if you’re still reading I suspect you won’t be dissatisfied.
