Review of The Couch Tomato Cafe' & Bistro

Absolutely not Celiac friendly. We have been dining here for years and never had a problem. They have a new menu and have edamame dumplings, we ordered them tonight. Since I have Celiac, I cook often and I ate 1 and looked at them and said there was no way the noodle wrapper was GF. I asked the waitress to check the ingredients and sure enough, they WERE NOT GLUTEN FREE. This place straight up fed a Celiac wheat. They compt our entire meal, but that is a small consolation to someone who's life will likely be ruined for days or weeks. It is extremely unfortunate that places offer gluten free food without being knowledgeable. Our waitress was a total sweetheart with all my questions and Im very sorry that because the owner is a money hungry idiot, she didn't get a tip. This is the place my husband and I dined on many of our first dates and the night we got engaged. So sad.
