Not a ton of sushi options but what they do have are very good! I had a spicy tuna roll and the Philly roll. Both were marked gf on the menu. I am sure they could do others if asked. Manager brought my food out and it was marked with an allergy flag. I was told there was a separate space in the kitchen for GF and they had gf soy sauce. Will definitely be back.

I love coming here. I know they will take care of my needs every time. The staff is always knowledgeable on what is gf and what can be made gf. There is a dedicated allergen free area in the kitchen. Manager brings all special needs foods out. Never ever ever had an issue!

Cowfish is a family favorite, and I'm happy I can eat there comfortably and safely. There is not a huge GF selection on the menu, but what there is I feel I can trust and the staff are well aware and will ask about any food allergies they need to be aware of when they ask for your order.

They have a dedicated fryer folks! I had a burger and fries. Both were delicious. I was surprised by the bun and turns out they serve Udi's brand as the GF bun option. The server was knowledgeable about food allergies saying what they can make gluten/dairy free. I enjoyed my meal and had no ill effects. I highly recommend this place.

Super knowledgeable about cross contamination and have gluten free friendly options marked on the menu. They even have gluten free soy sauce. They say they change gloves, preparation surfaces, utensils, etc when preparing your dish. Marked my sushi with an allergen identifying toothpick too!

First time experience could not have been better. Waitress Reagan was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Essentially the entire menu could be made gluten free minus a few items. Cocktail toothpicks with "allergy" placed on every GF plate when food was delivered. Told by staff multiple times that they take allergies super seriously and actions backed up the claim. Super sensitive celiac wife came away with a great meal and feeling perfect.

Ate lunch here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious and come out with an allergy pick in it which was reassuring. Sensitive celiac and didn’t get sick

SO great. Our waitress asked us up front if we had any allergies which was amazing! She said she also had a gluten allergy so she let me know that almost all menu items can be adapted to be gluten free. Menu says gluten sensitive but they have a dedicated fryer - first time I’ve gotten fries since celiac diagnosis - and they have gluten free soy sauce. Food came out with little allergy markers so I know it was safe. Also absolutely delicious. 10/10 will go back!

I have two words: DEDICATED FRYER!!! The menu had gluten sensitive items marked, my food was marked with a little stick that said allergy, and the staff was very knowledgeable. So excited to be able to eat the sweet potato fries! All of the food was delicious!

I was amazed by the knowledge of my server about gluten free items and cross contamination. He made sure to double check everything and come back and tell me what he found. They have a dedicated fryer! I had the C.B.C.L.T. on a gluten free bun, with no cowfish sauce. The sauce has Worcestershire in it so I just avoided it to be safe. I greatly enjoyed my food and I did not have any reaction!!

Server was very knowledgeable and was able to tell what items could be adapted to be GF and which ones wouldn’t be CC safe. Menu marks some items as GF. Manager delivered food to confirm was CC safe.

No Gf menu, however the waitress was very knowledgeable and assured us that most menu items could be made gf.
They do have a gf dedicated fryer for French fries.

I had a burger with a lettuce wrap and fries. The manager brought everything out and it was marked “allergy.” I had a great experience! They have gluten free burger buns but they do fall apart pretty badly. Most sushi is also GF.
Yes
Great staff and they really did try. I ordered a bento box with a lettuce wrapped slider. They were aware that it was an allergy. I could tell they made an effort to prepare my food safely but I was still glutened. I'm highly sensitive so what is not safe for me could very well be fine for others.
No
Staff is extremely knowledgeable and a manager brings out all allergy meals personally. I’ve eaten here many times without issue.
Yes
Not fully celiac safe. I had a burger and fries. I was told it would be safe, but found out after that the oil from the fries is dumped out prior to cooking for someone with with a gluten allergy, but there is no cleaning process. I was sick for a few days. The burger was great and I had no issues with it. Just the fries.

GO HERE. The staff is very well trained to handle dietary restrictions. I had the bento box, which was made completely gluten free. It’s been several hours now and I feel great. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and I felt really safe!
Yes
Great food, prices too high. Very good burgers.
Great spot for gluten free dining! Burger buns were DELICIOUS- moist and not crumbly at all (a small miracle!) and all sushi can be made gf - fish was super fresh tasting. Manager brought out my dish to ensure correct delivery and when i ordered a sauce in my sushi roll thinking it was gf, the server caught the mistake right before food came out and they remade the entire roll for me. Terrific experience!
There was limited gluten free items. Limited rolls and alcohol. No gluten free liquor even. Items ordered were marked allergy and brought by manager. GF soy sauce brought by waitstaff.
Very knowledgeable staff and are willing to make any sushi option GF. They will work with you to make it right.
Very pleased with my experience here. It was a cool places to hang out. I had originally seen it on the show Tanked. I Got a burger with a gluten free bun and sweet potatoes fries. When they brought it over to me it had a little stick that said "allergy." They seemed well informed.
We just had an excellent experience dining here tonight. The chef and owner both came out to speak to us regarding our order. They even brought out a sample of their gluten free bun to try before we ordered. I felt very safe and comfortable eating here tonight.

They are WONDERFUL about accommodating allergies. The manager brings out each allergy meal and checks in often to make sure you're okay. they even have gluten free hamburger buns!
Yes
Not GF but no sushi restaurant can be without considerable effort. Their selections and staff training as well is very good. Some of the items like the chipotle bison are pre marinated. Any roll can be made to order and meet your dietary requirements and personal allergen issues.
The place may not be celiac friendly, but good place to go occasionally.
Gluten Sensitive... that is not GF.

Not a great night for them but they made it right. Great place , food is fantastic.
Lots of gf choices. Very busy place. Be prepared to wait for a table. Especially on weekends.

Custom made sushi, cucumber appetizer is fantastic and huge! Ate at the one in Charlotte and the new one in Raleigh. A real winner. Make a reservation they are packed but definitely worth it.

Waitress was very knowledgeable about allergen items, as well as cross contamination. She told me the fries are in a dedicated fryer without me asking. I ended up getting the bacon parmesan fries and Philly rolls. Just a reminder DON’T USE PAPER STRAWS. THEY ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE.

While most of us had sushi, my celiac kiddo enjoyed a special bento box of chicken bites with honey mustard, carrot sticks and French fries. The waitress was super helpful and trained, plus she went to double check the honey mustard and even came back to say the chef was looking for the original bottle to be double sure the ingredients were gf since they don’t make it in house. We were very happy with our lunch and the safety.

Good experience here, as with many restaurants on City Walk. The options are limited, but what is available is safe and tasty. Got the spicy tuna roll. Unlike spicy tuna rolls in other restaurants, this roll had big chunks of tuna and lots of spicy mayo. The server offered to alter the specialty rolls as well, but I declined this time.

We ate there as part of the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine experience. We told our waitress about our dietary needs and she called the chef out to take our order. Had the bento box with regular fries, as the sweet potato fries are not gf. Food came out marked and was very yummy! I did not get sick.
