Changed ownership. Now it is not GF friendly at all. Was given Pork belly that was fried cross contaminated and also Corn tortilla were grilled same place as flour.
Do not recommend now
The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cc but said it was impossible to avoid cc because of all the flour tortillas being made. I ordered a salad with no chips, but still ended up sick later that night. Everyone was super nice and accommodating, though! This would be a great place for someone with a mild gluten intolerance or minor sensitivity. Or someone who was gluten free because of preference.
The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross-contamination. The manager spoke with me and my waiter and made sure my food was not cross-contaminated and then came back to check after I was served. His roommates have celiac disease so he really understands. Will definitely be going back.

Waitress was able to report on gluten free items. She offered me veggies instead of chips as they’re made in the same frier as gluten free items. However, she neglected to tell me the pork tacos I ordered would have CC. I had a bite, but then asked another server because I needed to know how they were fried. They “made it right” by making me some grilled shrimp (not a menu item) but I can’t shake the feeling I’m about to be very ill. Probably safe for gluten sensitive, NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC.

Told the server I was gluten and dairy intolerant. He recommended the chicken tacos and said they would be both gluten and dairy free. The tacos came out on flour tortillas. The manager immediately fixed the order and I was pleased how the situation was handled. The food was great when correct. If you have celiac I would be cautious.

The staff knew about cross contamination and even had a list of all the items on the menu and what needed to be substituted depending on the dish. They had a dedicated gluten free fryer too so I could eat the regular chips which normally never happens. Very good food.
