This is definitely destination fine dining. Chef-owned with a creative menu and well trained and knowledgeable staff. Be sure you have time to linger and savor when you go. Great care and attention to safety and preparation. Plus an historic building with interesting history! Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful experience eating here, there were many options and the staff was very knowledgeable. The food, while expensive, was fantastic and is a great place for a special meal. I had a the crab appetizer with gluten free bread, the duck breast, and creme brûlée which were all fantastic.

There are two items on the dessert menu that cannot be made Gf. Absolutely everything else in the menu is GF or can be made GF with only a small change. Kitchen is well trained and aware of cross contamination issues. AND THE FOID IS FANTASTIC! I took vendors here two nights in a row during a recent business trip because the food was so good. I have celiac and felt very safe. Over two meals I enjoyed the tarte and the wild mushroom appetizers, the Cream of Baltimore soup (seriously, try it), and for dinner the Crab Cakes one night and the Shrimp & Scallop Coquille St. Jacques the other. Was to fill for dessert the first night, but really enjoyed the Chocolate Blood Orange Creme Brûlée the second night. It’s farm to table, with most herbs and veggies grown on the property. So good! Highly recommend.

Had the most wonderful time dining here last night and didn’t get sick! Everything can be made gluten free and everything I tried was delicious. It is so close to the airport, but feels like a world away. Avoid the gluten free rolls- not recommended, but everything else was top notch!

Phenomenal farm to table meal. The first restaurant I've ever visited that had a gluten-free dessert menu. This restaurant goes above and beyond to ensure an outstanding customer experience!
A high-end French Restaurant. They have a separate gluten free menu and are more than willing to help work with you to modify dishes.

Usually very good quality and good for celiac. I had dinner there last night and seemed to have gotten some gluten. I was a little concerned with all the ingredients in one gf soup, but it may have been the cappucino. They brought it with a biscotti on the side.

Chef was knowledgeable and concerned - prepared a special dish substituting gluten free bread for us. Great atmosphere, great history and great food!

The management of this restaurant has really gone all out in their approach to serving gluten free food. Recently enjoyed Valentines Day dinner and Mother’s Day brunch which offered a wide variety of gluten free options. The chef is excellent and he gets it. If you have a question, ask your server. They are very responsive. And gluten free desserts!! The atmosphere is lovely. Hear their Sunday Brunch is awesome. That’s next. Highly recommend!!

Had a great GF meal here. Their GF menu is almost as big as their regular menu, and the food is wonderful.
HIGHLY recommend their brunch! Amazing gluten free French toast and pastries!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten, as was the chef who came out to speak with us. Real Maryland crab cakes are hard to find GF, but this place had them. The crab cakes were great and I highly recommend them. There is a whole big GF menu to choose from though. This is a more upscale restaurant, so I felt a bit under dressed, but the staff didn't say anything or act as if we were out of place. Not a stuffy or snooty restaurant, I just add that to say it is best to dress business casual at the least. Overall a wonderful experience in a building built in 1744 (how cool is that by the way), so I highly recommend it.
My sister has celiac. We chose this place based on the great reviews on find me gluten free. Sadly, she got glutened here due to cross contamination, so I don't recommend at all.

My wife requires a low FODMAP diet, so I start my search with places that understand gluten free, and then start emailing them the low FODMAP dietary requirements. The Elkridge Furnance Inn reviewed the material I sent, and emailed back the description (including ingredients) of a meal they could prepare for her. The food was wonderful, and my six year old daughter who has lately become a little picky enjoyed her meal as well.

Gracious dining at its best. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Spoke with the chef/owner who totally understood gluten-free. Food was delicious and the menu was extensive. A very happy experience!

Agree this was a great place. Their GF menu is seasonal as is their regular menu. Very French influenced with a nice, well priced wine list. As the sign out front says, it's fine dining so be prepared to pay a bit more than a night out at The Outback, but it's worth it.
