We had an excellent experience here at The Franklin. A lot of the menu is or can be made GF. I just ask for GF fried shrimp and fries. My husband had oysters and seafood dip appetizers. He said, both were great and both GF(except for the crackers and pita). The chef came out when the food was served and ensured it GF. Chef said, they used GF pizza flour and a little corn meal for the batter. We will be back while we are in town. This place is definitely the best for GF in the area.

Delicious! We had the GF Classic Oysters, GF Classic Burger, Fries and Sweet Potato Fries - ALL so good!! We will be coming back again! Lots of GF options, knowledgeable staff and even accommodated substitutes for my picky 9 yr old :) Only downside was no GF dessert.

The Franklin Café is the best food and GF-friendly place around St. George Island / Apalachicola area. Clearly had GF marked on the menu and was knowledgeable.
