What a great find! So many great things to say about this place. 1. Caroline was amazing with her knowledge of what I could have and gave tips for next visit. ( Garvey is made with corn starch not wheat flour) 2. My GF pancakes were excellent and they had turkey sausage another plus for me. 3. You can bring your pups and they give them a treat and water! Will definitely go back if ever in the area.

Love the atmosphere and our server was very helpful and attentive with all our questions. Although I do not have full fledge celiac, I have a severe gluten allergy and I felt as if I had eaten gluten after I ate the ‘gluten free’ pancakes and hash browns. Great service other than that though!

Great food, fun atmosphere! My daughter has celiac, so we asked them to clean the table griddle extra well in front of us. Then they brought her own gf pancake mix and got to cook her own. The rest of us ordered from the kitchen so there wouldn’t be cross contamination. The food was delicious and staff kind and knowledgeable about her dietary needs.

I would leave 5 stars, except outr lovely waitress brought me a sandwich on gluten bread. We had discussed leaving off any questionable additions. She forgot about the bread. So glad I questioned the marbled bread, that looked too good to be true. It was. When I got the correct sandwich, it was very good

The menu was not marked but my waitress was very knowledgeable and told me pretty much everything was gluten free but the biscuits. I had the hangover which is hashbrowns, cheese, bacon, and gravy. It also came with a gluten free pancakes. Soo good!

This was a great breakfast spot! I got one GF pancake, bacon, 2 eggs and grits. So full after and no reactions. Would definitely go back! They said they also have GF bread, so you can get French toast too!

The gluten free pancake mix tasted great. Everything else was sub par. The floors were dirty and the staff was dismissive, rude and inattentive. I’d love to buy the GF pancake mix if it was available, but I don’t think we will visit this restaurant again. It’s a great concept that is poorly managed and maintained.

Planned my sisters Bach party around safe places to eat and after seeing the many many positive reviews we came here. The wait staff and kitchen staff knew nothing. I was shocked and very embarrassed that I brought an entire group of people and waited an hour and they couldn’t make a safe space in the kitchen, they had me make my own pancakes. Brought out everyone’s batter together I had to ask to be reassured that the one she handed me was safe. They don’t have any gluten free syrup. They offered sugar free syrup and I asked if that was gluten free no one had a clue. They brought it out and said it was, I called the restaurant to ask the brand none of them knew. The spray for the griddle is also not gluten free.

Ate here two mornings in a row while we were in Savannah because of the amazing staff and food. I have Celiac and I’m lactose intolerant and intolerant to all forms of peppers. We have tried breakfast here a few times and have always had a good experience. This last time I tried the gluten free pancakes, which was risky with a 5 hr drive home, but they were delicious and I had no adverse reaction. Spouse and I were both very pleased with our orders. He had the andouille scramble. I had the grit bowl with shrimp and lobster sprinkled with bacon. No blue cheese moray as I’m df. Food was excellent. Service a bit slow, but once the order was taken the food came out very quickly.

I asked questions about everything. The waitress seemed knowledgeable, but also annoyed. I ordered an omelet with a side of loaded grits. When the food came out, I took the first bite of grits and started feeling nervous. I asked the waitress if there was white gravy on the loaded grits. She said no. A few more bites in and she was waving me down from across the restaurant to tell me she was wrong. I was sick for a month.

Had the best gluten free toast, you would not even know it was gluten free. They also had gravy that was gluten free. One of the best breakfast restaurants I have been to for gluten free food. It was so good!

My wife has celiac disease and is extremely sensitive to gluten. She had the gluten free toast and some scrambled eggs with no issues. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on there gf items. The staff was also very attentive to our dog, gave home a dish of water and a sweat potato wrapped in bacon treat right after we got seated. Nice outdoor space too.

If you’re seriously gluten sensitive, DO NOT bother with this place. They do not care about cross contamination AT ALL. They use the same toasters and skillets for both allergen and allergen-free. My mom has bad celiac and we were incredibly disappointed. The staff didn’t seem concerned when we brought it up either. Simply a terrible place if you have allergies.

I was so excited to eat here because of all the great reviews and was extremely disappointed. Our waitress rolled her eyes when I said I needed to be gluten free. Limited options on menu and she said gf pancakes are made on the same griddle as regular pancakes and not a separate pan, but they clean the griddle in between each use and then said “we do allergies all the time you’re fine.” So I tried them with eggs and hash browns. Food was very average but did not get sick

The only thing marked as gf on the menu is the pancakes. Everything else on the menu they will work with you on. The grits and hash browns are gf as well. I got the salmon omelette, grits, and a pancake. It was so good! We also got pineapple mimosas. I would definitely come here. My gf pancake came out after the meal because they take longer but it was so worth the wait!

We had a great experience here. Sat outside on a Saturday am and service was relatively fast. No separate menu but they offer GF toast and pancakes. I had the GF pancakes. We ate inside which I’m glad we did because we had our own hot skillet at our table so I was able to spray and cook my own pancakes. I had strawberries as a topping. Along with that I had a side of scramble eggs and hash browns that they cooked in the back kitchen. I did not get sick. I made it a 4 star because the service wasn’t the best.
