Review of The Funky Brunch Cafe

Breakfast at the Funky Brunch Cafe was the most underwhelming experience I've had in a while. Firstly, the space is too large, there were no feelings of intimacy which is something I enjoy on a quiet Saturday morning. Then there's the problem that my husband and I were seated right next to the servers station, meaning there were 11 people standing, talking, touching their hair (which is gross considering they touched my food next) and goofing around right behind my husband and I....hardly a pleasant experience. When my food came out it was on two small dishes, making it appear small and unimpressive; people eat with their eyes first & my eyes weren't happy. The food itself was lackluster. Nothing special, to be quite honest my husband said it tasted like his meal (biscuits and gravy) was pre-made....this wouldn't be so terrible if it weren't for the fact that his plate cost $8. Our bill was $25, which to me, for the atmosphere and tasteless food was way overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, in fact, I would urge them not to go.

Before anyone dismisses my comments, please keep in mind, I was a breakfast server at one point and have an understanding of how it works.
