The carrot coffee cake and pecan bar are unreal! So delicious - even my boyfriend who’s not GF loved them both! The pecan bar is extremely sweet but the crust and the toffee & pecan flavor are so delicious. Pretty reasonably priced, too!

Had iced coffee, a donut, a cookie, and a cupcake. They were all delicious and I did not get sick. This is the best iced coffee I have had while having celiac’s disease. My favorite coffee place too bad I don’t live closer.

I’ve given up on this place. When they first opened their storefront I was excited and went several times despite the baked goods being “okay” but not great. Well now with the hours (what kind of bakery doesn’t open until 11am?! I want a donut in the morning…) And the parking situation is atrocious. I know they can’t control that part, but I can no longer just run in for something quick, I have to park quite far and walk. It’s not worth it for the mediocre quality. I’d rather drive all the way up to Nectarine Grove when I want a treat, honestly.

Always fantastic to be able to take my celiac kids (and myself!) somewhere they can order whatever they want. Donuts were ok, but the cream puffs were a real treat! We went later in the day so I’m sure was picked over a bit but absolutely no complaints here!!

I had a poor experience here. The staff was very cold and not very nice when I asked about other allergies, and there is only two options on the menu that don’t have any soy. Totally fine, but would appreciate it being more friendly! What I did order was not very good, so I can’t really recommend if you have any additional allergies.

My daughter is celiac (9) and was extremely excited to come to this bakery during a recent trip to San Diego. She loves Sprinkles’ red velvet cupcakes and was so excited to see that we could buy a single piece of red velvet cake from this shop. In addition to the slice of red velvet cake, we also purchased four of the ‘hostess’ donut (chocolate donut + cream filling + chocolate icing). Unfortunately, all items purchased were okay or disappointing. I tasted each item and they were grainy. My daughter ate half of the slice of red velvet and decided she didn’t like it enough to finish it. No one else wanted it given the texture.

I went to this bakery specifically since it had good reviews but I didn’t have the best experience. I have a soy allergy, and the woman working was very short with me about what was and was not soy free (I couldn’t find any labeling on the website so asked). I did end up buying a donut and a coffee cake since everything else had soy in it, but the donut was very off and dense, and the coffee cake was not very good either. If you have other allergies other than gluten, I don’t recommend you visit because it isn’t worth it for what you can eat and the staff (though I did only speak to one person, it’s possible everyone else is lovely) was not very nice.

This place used to only sell online. They opened this bakery a year or two ago, and every time I have gone, all of the baked goods are given to me cold. It’s all premade and pulled from the freezer, and nothing is given to you fresh. I’ve had this experience every single time I have been.

I’ve shown up for promotional events on the weekends, such as special St. Patrick’s Day cookies and treats, and when I asked the person at the counter about it, and showed them the email, the person said “I don’t know anything about that, I just work here”. ...If you work there, you should know about the owner’s promotional events! And the treats should be there!

My husband and I have made the decision not to return. Starry Lane bakery is just down the street, and their stuff is excellent, and also free of soy and other allergens. It’s a shame, because this bakery’s cookies and cheesecake are wonderful, but just never fresh.

This is an all gluten free bakery so everything was safe. We only purchased bagels and they were pretty good. However, I had the same experience as the last reviewer with a very rude staff member. Would have walked out if I had not promised my kids a treat. Personally, I would have rather done without than give my business to a place that does not treat customers well.

I was so excited to go here today based on other reviews and even made a special trip to the bakery. However, My whole experience was less than stellar. The person working there wasn’t friendly or welcoming. I bought a donut and was disappointed - it was dry and dense. Not what I expected when I paid almost $4 for a donut. Everything was very highly priced. I’m used to paying more for gluten-free food, but the value for the money was not there. I wouldn’t go back.

The baked good are excellent! I got a couple of different stuff and I really enjoyed each. For someone who is new to being gluten free the treats didn’t taste that off from normal baked goods. The price really was not that bad which is shocking for it being gluten free. I am also dairy free and the lady working there was very helpful in pointing out everything I could eat. I would definitely recommend this place!

Omg this place is the treasure I never knew existed in the gluten free bakery goods. I mean, I ordered my birthday cake from here and it is by far the best cake and frosting I’ve ever had. Like seriously ... not even just for celiac. The whole bakery is gluten free and everything is amazing... but definitely get cake with cream cheese frosting and the cheesecake. The only place I’m ordering desserts from at this point

I don't know how I've missed this place for so long! Some of the best gluten free muffins and cupcakes I've ever had. The flavors are A++++ and they've got the texture down! The brioche loaf is also great, and the cheesecake is fab.

Hours posted on here are incorrect. I msg'd owner in advance, was told 10:30 opening, showed up to see the sign in the door said 11am. We left and returned later in the day. Small selection at that point, but were able to get a couple donuts. They were moist and flavorful. If we had more time in the area we would visit again.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!!! They care so much, and I’m so happy there is a storefront. Everything is delicious, they are wonderful and it’s so nice to be able to have so many safe choices. My favs are the coffee cake and the carrot cake cupcake. GO HERE NOW!

The cream puffs and the cake/cupcakes are soooo good. I just served cake from here at a party last weekend and people were completely shocked to find it was gluten free. With these 2 items you would definitely never know. With the pies and the bagels you might tell that they are gluten free, but they are still delicious. I haven’t tried anything else yet, but they have a wide variety of other things that I am looking forward to tasting soon!
