I have been to this restaurant about five times. The first time, everything was fantastic. Large portions, very flavorful. We were extremely satisfied.
However, every time we have gone after that, the quality and service has gone down progressively.
The meat is extremely processed and not good quality. We had to question what we were served multiple times. Management refused to fix it. And when the owner finally came out, she minimized the problem, and still charged us, even though the food was inedible
This place is great! Tons of GF options and they are knowledgeable about cross-contamination. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere- I was a little put off by the name at first because it sounded more like a to-go deli, but it has indoor seating and a few tables for outdoor seating. Recommended!
Fantastic place! Each time I’ve gone they have have been great. The menu is vegan/gluten options. The kitchen is dedicated and I’ve never had an issue. Most recent I was able to enjoy their (BLAST)Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Salmon, Tomato! It was fantastic! Before this, we came for breakfast and since being diagnosed with celiacs three years ago, missing French toast, tried the Carmel pecan French toast. Let’s say delightful! One happy celiac who did not experience post stomach issues once leaving. Please give this wonderful restaurant a try. They use fresh ingredients as well which to me is an added bonus.
Unfortunately my daughter got glutened. I do not recommend this restaurant at all as they do not have the appropriate safety measures in place to protect Celiac patients who eat there. My daughter and I ordered the same pancakes. Hers was gluten free and mine was non gluten free. We made it very clear to the server that my child had a gluten allergy. I even offered to have my meal gluten free if it made it easier for the kitchen to keep the order straight. Unfortunately the server mixed up the two plates. I even asked when she brought them to the table if she was sure which one was gluten free and she assured me which one was. Unfortunately she was wrong. I explained that some restaurants serve the gluten free item on a different shaped plate or add something to the plate, like a sprig of parsley or slice of tomato to differentiate gluten free from non gluten free menu items. Needless to say we will not be eating there again. Very disappointing that some places market themselves as gluten-free or gluten friendly and are so unknowledgeable about Celiacs. After we explained my daughter had been glutenized the server did not understand the significance of what was going to happen to my daughter later in the day and how sick she was going to get from this event.
My wife loves the gluten free french toast! Plenty of other gluten free and vegan options.
Updated review: I went here a few times with zero problems, but got glutened the last time. It was the only place I got food or drinks from the night before and that day for brunch, will not be back unfortunately.
Previous review: This is a very accommodating restaurant. They have one person prepare allergy meals so they are very careful. There are so many gf options for meals and desserts. My food was fantastic, I had zero reactions, and I will definitely be going back. Bonus: Breakfast is served all day!
The staff (kitchen and wait) were so on top of things related to Celiac. My husband and I ordered a salad to share...after bringing our order to the kitchen, the waitress came back to us quickly to let us know that the beets on the salad would be cooked in a way that was not safe for me. She said they would be very happy to bring the beets on the side for my husband so we could still split the salad. I was so appreciative! The food was great - so many GF options and options that could be prepared GF! Will definitely go back!
Fantastic place with tons of options. Just about everything is Gluten free or can be adapted. Shared the Brussel sprout and avocado salad and had the special Cajun ahi tuna that was DELICIOUS! Finished with a mint filled chocolate-chocolate chip Whoopi Pie that was amazing this was also vegan/GF that made the whipped mint filing (soy based) even lighter than traditional cream filling.
Excellent, excellent! Just about everything on the menu is either GF or can be made GF with substitutions. The only local place where I can get WAFFLES! GF waffles, french toast, and pancakes! Very safe, very knowledgeable, very tasty-- I can't say enough good things about this place!
Great food and selection of gluten free options. Live music on Saturday nights and BYOB.
I love this place. LOVE LOVE it. They have a wonderful menu for GF/CF as well as VEG and Vegans alike. The owners are gracious and helpful and now at their new location, they have more room for patrons to sit. Please stop by, you wont regret it.
