they have GF items but nothing is safe for celiac folks — per the manager and staff

Love this place! Have been a couple times + felt fine after. Their GF menu is limited, but I recommend their wings and fries! Not sure about the fryer situation as I didn’t ask, but I’m someone who can be sensitive to cross contamination and was all good.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I had an extended conversation with the cashier about cross contamination for celiac—he even mentioned that he just bought new cookware for his roommate who has celiac. The cashier marked my order “gluten allergy” and “gluten-free bread.” My sandwich still came with real bread, which I suspected was not GF but continued to eat because I had the classic celiac thought: “maybe their GF bread is just this good!” Ya, no. Very sick. I will never eat here again and would strongly recommend others avoid.

Best gluten free sandwich I've had in a decade. Seriously. The bread was perfect. Avocado and goat cheese... Can't go wrong
Yes
The bread they use for the French toast was very thick you couldn’t even tell it was gf it was so good!
Gluten free bread was an extra $1.50 for my guac & bacon grilled cheese sandwich. The server seemed knowledgeable informing me that the french fries would have cross contamination.
I like the gluten free bread they use. Small bread but they triple-decker it. They have gluten free zucchini bread too and some soups and salads.
Had the grilled chicken press on gluten free bread. Delicious sandwich. Bread got soggy quickly but i didn’t mind. Awesome atmosphere and crowd!
Lots of GF food- pancakes, French toast flatbread and more.
Big GF menu. I ordered the chicken salad with bacon and cheese on GF flatbread. I was splitting with my mom so I told them to put the french fries that came with it on a separate plate to avoid cross contamination. They did, but as soon as I picked the sandwich up, their were a few straggler fries underneath it. I flagged someone down and asked them to remake me half of a sandwich. They did so quickly, but when I asked, "and this flatbread is GF right?", just to be sure, the waiter wasn't sure. He came back out and said it was, but I gave a 4/5 for due to this whole exchange. The food was delicious though! The best flatbread I have ever had. I asked which brand since they were so good, and was told they were made in house. I would return next time I am in the city for sure.

Great atmosphere, double decker grilled cheese. S'ok... Fast service!
Fantastic gluten free menu. Almost all sandwiches can be made GF! BEST iced latte I've ever had. Strongly recommend if you're in the Chelsea area of NYC. Very pleasant workers.
What an excellent Avocado and Goat Cheese sandwich and gluten free! This place is a treasure with a huge gluten free selection!
Yes
Love getting sandwiches and breakfast here. I once bravely asked if the french toast could be made gluten free and was cheerfully told yes. As I was passing over my credit card a minute later I hesitantly asked, "About that french toast... The bread is dipped into a separate egg mixture right, not the same bowl as the wheat bread?" and the girl behind the counter's face turned completely white and she apologized profusely. Another time, after ordering staff came and found me to apologize that I'd ordered something they can't guarantee to be safe, and let me change my order and added a freebie GF treat in apology. So, my read is the counter staff is not super well-trained, but the kitchen staff knows what's up.
I'm gluten intolerant and was pleased with the fact that they had gluten free bread. I shamelessly asked a ton of questions and God bless the girl behind the counter, she checked with the kitchen a couple of times just to be sure about the answer. Just be sure to ASK about what you order...my food came with fries so I asked was it fried in its own oil - which it wasn't but I had to ask. They even had gluten free desserts which was nice to have options.
Great spot for a coffee and a GF muffin
Great spot. Great food. They will serve all/most sandwiches on gluten free bread and they have cookies and muffins too.
Gluten free alternative for a lot of things on the menu, gluten free options!

Really good gluten-free bread, if not typically small! Sadly fewer options for French toast, pancakes, etc.
