Review of The Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen

I was pretty sure that the grove is an excellent place for people with celiac, however I found out late, that despite them recommending a gluten-free pizza, they did not seem to understand what cross contamination means. Only after a bad reaction , when I called the restaurant- they shared that they have only one person making all the pizzas in a very small spot, and there is no chance that it could be a clean area. I was pretty disappointed because the server stressed out that they are very good with Celiac and they have many GF options. I didn’t expect such a gap in understanding what gluten-free means for people with celiac, specifically for a place that prides itself with serving so many GF options. I hope they would consider educating themselves about this topic, because their food is great.
