This place was a real surprise. Their fryer is “dedicated” because they do not use anything containing gluten in their mixes and coatings- only cornmeal or rice flour. Thus, nothing with gluten goes into their fryer. That means fried clams, french fries, etc. are all good-to-go. They are a celiac-friendly restaurant without specifically calling it out. Lots of delicious food that just happens to be all gluten free!! 5 stars! A real treasure for the gluten free crowd in Midcoast area.
