The new owners have done a fantastic job, even through the staffing issues and supply chain issues plaguing many in the industry. My favorite is the blackened haddock sandwich, served on a GF bun by request.. I am not celiac, so not particularly concerned about cross-contamination. Therefore I love their french fries and chicken wings! Never had a complaint recently with the food not since Courtney took over! Pretty decent selection of gluten-free alcohol as well. I'm local and eat there often and find them to be consistent and friendly. Generally the wait staff is at least conversant with what gluten is and is always willing to ask the kitchen!

As previous reviews mentioned they no longer have gf fried foods but they did have GF pasta and rolls. I just ordered steak and potatoes, the food was okay, mashed potatoes were bland. Waitstaff was not too familiar with GF and had to ask the kitchen a couple times which is okay but she still seemed unsure. Thankfully I did not get glutened.

Was informed by the staff that they no longer have a dedicated fryer and can do fewer things gluten free than in the past. Still can do some things, but nothing fried anymore. I got the steak to be safe

Almost the entire menu is already gluten free with no modifications, the only gluten they serve is their bread, some pasta and some of their daily specials. They have a dedicated fryer and gf bread, buns and pasta. The ENTIRE menu is available to be ordered gluten free. I ate here three times got the chowder, fried haddock, lobster roll and seafood stuffed haddock. I also had the fried green tomato with crab appetizer and the brownie sundae. I would have went more, but our trip was ending.

Everything here can be made GF as indicated at the bottom of the menu. Food was delicious and the server was friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely return!

Extensive gluten free options with a waiter that knew somewhat about it. That said, he was nice and willing to check with the kitchen and address my questions. I had the grilled chicken with cheese & artichoke sauce. I’m glad that I asked for the sauce on the side as a little went a long way for me. Meal was meh, service was ok. Asked if we had a reservation even though they weren’t busy. Got the feeling this is a place for the locals and they’re not as receptive to travelers.

This place was a real surprise. Their fryer is “dedicated” because they do not use anything containing gluten in their mixes and coatings- only cornmeal or rice flour. Thus, nothing with gluten goes into their fryer. That means fried clams, french fries, etc. are all good-to-go. They are a celiac-friendly restaurant without specifically calling it out. Lots of delicious food that just happens to be all gluten free!! 5 stars! A real treasure for the gluten free crowd in Midcoast area.

This place is fantastic! Gluten free fish and chips!!! Dedicated fryer!!! There are only 3 items on the menu that are not GF. They currently do not have buns though but I didn't care. The food was amazing and it's right down the road from Pemaquid Lighthouse, which is a sight to behold. The place appears to be new or remodeled recently, its clean and the decor is gorgeous. Highly recommended.
