Usual Keg awesomeness about gluten free celiac-safe dining. More gluten free items than listed if you change sides (eg, ribs are gluten free if you don’t get the fries and biscuit). This location even brought us gluten free toast in lieu of the usual sourdough which we haven’t seen at other Kegs.
GF options. It was great to see the fries were GF. The service was good and very accommodating meeting our daughters Coeliac needs.
The keg employees are educated on celiac disease and went above and beyond to make sure my food wasn’t cross-contaminated. Every time I was brought a drink or food they confirmed that it was gluten free and there are so many options on the menu that are safe to eat. The staff were absolutely awesome and so was the food!
Knowledgeable staff and good food
Items that are GF, vegetarian and vegan are clearly marked on the menu which made it easy to see what my options were. When I informed the waiter about my many food allergies, he carefully wrote them all down and came back twice after checking that what I ordered would be free of these ingredients. The manager came by to say that he would be double checking as well. They clearly wanted me to have a good experience and it was. Everything was delicious - I had bacon-wrapped scallops, mixed green salad, filet mignon, cauliflower mash and green beans and grilled beets. I snuck my own DFGF peppercorn sauce on top and it was fantastic!! It’s the first non-stressed, non-disappointing dinner out I’ve had in over a year. The Keg gets it right, as professionals and lovers of quality. It isn’t cheap but the experience is priceless.
