GF items are clearly marked. We had other food allergies which the staff was very careful about. The manager came out to say that he personally checked and double checked everything to make sure everything was safe. That was very reassuring. The food was delicious and we all had a good meal. Steaks are delicious. We will be back for sure.
Items that are GF, vegetarian and vegan are clearly marked on the menu which made it easy to see what my options were. When I informed the waiter about my many food allergies, he carefully wrote them all down and came back twice after checking that what I ordered would be free of these ingredients. The manager came by to say that he would be double checking as well. They clearly wanted me to have a good experience and it was. Everything was delicious - I had bacon-wrapped scallops, mixed green salad, filet mignon, cauliflower mash and green beans and grilled beets. I snuck my own DFGF peppercorn sauce on top and it was fantastic!! It’s the first non-stressed, non-disappointing dinner out I’ve had in over a year. The Keg gets it right, as professionals and lovers of quality. It isn’t cheap but the experience is priceless.
The most safe I have felt in a restaurant so far since being diagnosed. First off, their online menu has an allergen button that takes you to their menu where you click on each item and it lists all allergens! I used that as the menu at the restaurant is not that detailed. The waiter instantly knew how to handle ones with celiac disease. The manager was involved. And so many options. All in all, amazing experience. They do not have a separate fryer for their fries, so just get something else off their menu.
Not safe unfortunately. It's hit or miss when you go. My mother called in advance and they kept serving me the bread and when my mother said "don't put it in front of the celiac" they said "well she's not going to eat it" and proceeded to serve all the other dishes over my food.
Yes I did get sick after this visit. I won't be eating here again because it's so hit or miss.
They were very careful and confirmed which items were gluten free (already indicated on the menu). The waiter even told me the fries were cross contaminated in the fryer. The manager brought my food and told me how it was prepared in a separate area of the kitchen. I felt very safe and ate way too much!
