Awesome service. GF pizza crust (cooked in regular oven so cross highly likely), GF pasta and GF rolls. Server very knowledgeable. If it’s an isotherm say something. It’s not rocket science. Saw the other reviews but chanced it and I’m VERY gluten sensitive. Had no issues whatsoever.
The food was just ok. My DD (celiac) had gluten free Mac and cheese (homemade which was a novelty but it wasn’t delicious. Tasted a bit nutty somehow, maybe made with browned butter? Not sure. It wasn’t bad but not great. I had a toasted GF bun with a turkey Rachel. It was ok but not great. The fries, tater tots and chips are all cross contaminated since they are made in a shared fryer.
Be careful! They do have gluten free options listed on their menu, however, the wait staff is not properly trained/informed. My daughter ordered the GFree pizza, I stressed to the waitress that it was important because of an allergy and our waitress just rudely said “okay, I get it.” When the pizza arrived I double checked that it was gluten free, she then rolled her eyes and said “yes” with an attitude. Well, she didn’t “get it” and it wasn’t gluten free because my daughter was up sick all night. Be cautious, talk to management, double check with the kitchen or just go someplace else because the wait staff (at least our waitress) was not informed and could care less about our allergies. Sad because it was right on the lake and had the potential to be a nice spot.
