We are here off-season in October. They have only been open Thurs-Sun. We went on a Tuesday and we were referred to Open Door Reservations. I mentioned GF and was told everything on the menu other than the crostini is GF. We still told our waitress that we were here because of the GF. Then she told us sadly, the restaurant would only be open through Sunday. They were closing for good. It’s too bad. I had the lobster chowder and DH asked for the Greek salad. We both ordered large portions and switched half-and-half. The lobster chowder was to die for! And to find a gluten-free chowder?! Downside is that they served the chowder with three crostini‘s on the side under the bowl. We sent it back. I ordered roasted duck, and DH got lamb chops. Both were huge servings. His fingerling potatoes were a little under done… Rather a lot under done. They replaced it with Yukon mashed potatoes, which were delicious! We were too full for dessert, which we’re all gluten-free: crème brûlée, tiramisu, a brownie sundae, cheesecake, or gelato… Either vanilla or chocolate.
