Burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches! They have both bread and buns - most likely Udi’s. No dedicated prep but did tell Kitchen to wipe griddle. Fries are tasty and safe. Food is pretty greasy and not the best of the “better” fast food variety but not bad and their offerings are plentiful.
They use the same surfaces and sandwich presses (and will not wipe them down for a gluten-free order), so there's a high chance of cross-contamination. I've accompanied friends here but never tried anything for that reason. Execept once. I tried the tomato soup, and was very clear that any gluten would be dangerous to me. What did I find? A singular crouton laying near the bottom. Never again. I can't recommend this place for people with Celiac.
they have gluten free bread but it's not on the menu. no dedicated frier. they are very friendly about menu substitutions.
The employees are really accommodating and are happy to clean off their griddle and work area before making my gluten-free food. They even have gluten-free (labeled) chocolate syrup, so I can have a sundae since I can't have a cone! I don't feel sick afterward.
The cooks were a bit snotty and looked at each other every time I asked if certain things were GF. Then declared they weren't celiac proof. The cashier was great and accommodating. I won't come back because of the cooks attitude.
I will say the food was amazing and they did have gluten free bread. However, they unfortunately do not use any precautions to stop cross contamination. Within a few minutes of eating there I had a bad reaction. I only recommend if you are not strict about keeping gluten out of your diet.
