Delicious. This was my extra bit of art and theatre for visit to the MOMA. Most of the menu could be accommodated for gluten-free. Everyone I spoke to understood what coeliac meant. BUT it still pays to check when food delivered. I was eating son who is gluten intolerant and my with my husband who has no food allergies. The first course dish eggs eggs eggs came with toast, I though it looked so good I did my paranoid is “that GF toast”? Found out the “order” waiter who took my order had swapped seat number of my husband and I , so I was getting his brioche. Delivery waiter was very very apologetic and went straight back to the kitchen to inform chef team proper information. I guess this is flaw in the system a whole team gives a dining experience of a life time so we got an order waiter and different waiters delivering plate of food as well as an announcer to explain dish and pour sauce. So just the usual advice of talk and question things.
The gluten free bread was incredible!!!
Ate too much of it so couldn’t finish dessert, I was told the secret is it comes from Everybody Eats Brooklyn https://everybodyeats-inc.com as kitchen at The Modern has admitted that can’t beat the quality and make it as safely.
