Great experience…When I told the person serving the meat about my gluten allergy, he immediately changed his gloves. They were helpful in advising which sides I could eat as well as what I couldn’t eat.

We just went and they assured us they knew about celiac sensitivity but didn’t change gloves and prepared the food on the same counter they had just prepared a sandwich. Didn’t risk eating it, but just something to note

We don’t eat the sauce as we have been told it contains gluten because of the Worcestershire. So we use our own bbq sauce. We’ve enjoyed their brisket, sausage, turkey, and potato salad many times and have been fine.

Although I did have the manager change utensils out, I unfortunately was very glutened. I’m a very sensitive celiac. If you are too, go without. They were so kind. The brisket was tender but the sauce isn’t the sweet kind. I have decided to stop going to places that aren’t dedicated gf as the after affects don’t make the experience worth it.

Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly, but the food was just ok at best. Ribs and brisket were just okay, and the corn on the cob was gross. My kids love corn and wouldn’t eat it. The bbq sauce was the “ketchup based” sauce versus a sweet molasses type. I didn’t care to the sauce at all. I had the cole slaw too, and it was average at best. I would say to pass on this restaurant and try another.

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is incredible, particularly the brisket, pork ribs, beans and chips and queso. They always change their gloves, knife, cutting board and even slab of meat, when we let them know we can’t be exposed to gluten!

They take a lot of precautions. They changed the gloves, the cuting board and the knife when I said that I am coeliac. I took brisket, ribs, sauce and potato salad. It was very good!

Does not have a gluten free menu however do not be put off by that. I spoke with an employee who guided me as to what I could have. All the meats are good. Coleslaw and potato salad were fine as well. Excellent food, safe for celiacs in my opinion.

After an eye roll, the guy working the counter changed his glove (yes 1), snagged a clean cutting board and delivered me fresh meat from the back for cutting. I guess I understand the eye roll. Awesome BBQ! Highly recommend!

When I walked up & said gluten free the employee didn’t know what that meant. A nearby employee jumped into action, verified no cross contamination & did everything right: fresh meat from the back, new board & knife & had everyone change their gloves. I’m highly sensitive & had no reaction plus it was the best bar-be-que I’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Next time I’m in Houston, I’ll definitely come here.
