stopped by here on the way back from disney and it was great!! reminds me a lot of 'your pie' from my hometown.
the gluten free crust (cauliflower) is $6.50 extra and they have it pre-made in a freezer under the counter. they change gloves, dont put it in the pizza press, and lay it on a seperate cooking plate when it goes in the oven! since it doesnt get pressed, its actually thicker than the gluten crust for once! the pizza itself is very good, probably one of the best i've had!! i had almost an entire pizza last night and did not get sick :)
Went in between lunch and dinner time for better interaction with the staff. Cauliflower crust with toppings prepared separately from the rest of the line in the back. Great pizza and did not get sick. I got the chicken with some veggie toppings and they couldn’t guarantee pepperoni was totally gf.
Today was the first day of our vacation and we got take out from here because of the great reviews. My son was vomiting within a few hours. Please do not eat here if you are a true celiac . We tried to call them many times afterward and they did not answer the phone.
If you ask and inform about being Celiac, they will make your pizza in the back and use a new pizza spatula send cutter to get your pizza out and it's made on an allergen tray. Cut right in the box. All new gl9ves with everyone. It was great and no issues. Would definitely recommend for Celiac.
Great experience! They asked allergy or preference and when I said allergy they got all new gloves, pan, sauce, spoons and toppings and knife. The crust is pre made in a package so it isn't with regular crust. I got pepperoni and green peppers and cheese. It was a delicious pizza!
Cauliflower crust was available, however, there were no toppings available that were not cross contaminated, including the sauce. Same brush for sauce, same cutting board and knife, etc. Not at all safe.
The taste was amazing, but it was not at all suitable for someone with celiac or a gluten allergy, given the lack of safe toppings and preparation.
This place is great and has a gluten free crust. They ask if it’s allergy or preference, however that’s the extent of keeping clear of x-contamination. I ordered pizza and they grabbed a tray which I believe was for allergy pizza. A new spoon was used for the sauce, but it was the same sauce that touches other pizza crusts, so not really helpful. They also choose toppings directly from the bins that are used from regular pizza. The fresh gloves and utensils are a great step in the right direction, however this is not a place for Celiacs.
Would have Ben 5 stars if it wasn’t for the staff. The pizza itself was amazing! I mean fluffy crust! I actually wanted to eat the crust first it was that good. I have no problems since eating there! The staff was a bit rude if you ask me, they seemed annoyed that they had to make the pizza separate from the others or that they had to deal with us. We should not have to feel ashamed for being gluten intolerant or having celiac disease. With an attitude adjustment, this place could be awesome.
Gluten and dairy free fluffy thick vegan cauliflower crust! Staff was good about changing gloves and using separate cooking tools and utensils. they have 2 gluten free crust options. +$3 for cauliflower gluten free crust. About 15”
Loved that this place was so close to where I was staying with my family. Can’t fault them really. Easy online ordering, reasonable pricing, friendly customer service, clean/modern premises, and delicious pizza!
Went here last night, they changed everything that could possibly be contaminated. It took a few extra min but they still accommodated even with a large line up behind us. I would highly recommend the pizza press if you have celiac, just be sure to let the staff know!
We did not end up eating there because it has trace amounts of gluten in meats (only not in chicken), which is what we wanted. I do have to say, they were upfront and knowledgeable about it, very helpful. If you want a chicken pizza, this is for you. But with Celiac, I don't take chances, especially on vacation. I do appreciate their honesty and ability to answer my questions.
They have gf crust and vegan cheese available for extra charges. Not a gf facility, but good pizza and they take mostly cautious handling procedures to keep away cross contamination. Kind of an assembly line while you watch. But you should watch them to make sure they don't make a mistake in handling. The you say the only meat that is gf is chicken for some reason. Right down the street from Disneyland. They recently moved to 1700 South Harbor Blvd.
Yummy pizza!! They always ask if it's allergy or preference. They try very hard to make you feel comfortable with the food.
Simply amazing!! I am GF and DF. The crust was delicious. The staff changed their gloves, used a new pizza pan and got my vegan cheese and pepperoni from containers under the counter to avoid cross contamination. And it was good!!! I highly recommend. I am not celiac, just allergic.
I ordered dairy free and gluten free pizzas and they went above and beyond! they only had one gluten free crust and went all the way to another location to get another to fill my order. they then prepared it in a separate space and gave me 10% . I am very pleased and the pizza was amazing!
I tried gluten free crust. They also have vegan cheese pizza that was delicious and they are very helpful.
Although there is no dedicated GF menu, they can prepare any pizza on GF crust. The staff was knowledgeable about food allergens and proactively informed me of their measures to prevent cross contact with gluten while preparing my pizza. They use allergy-only baking trays, any staff member preparing a gluten-free pizza changes gloves, and all toppings and condiments are pulled from closed containers under the counter – – not the open containers used while preparing gluten containing items. The staff shared with me that the only risk for cross contact would come in the pizza oven, but looking at the way in which the oven was designed I did not see that as an issue for me.
This is a not a great option for those sensitive to cross contamination. The pizza is made in an “assembly line” type of way, and although the first team member changed gloves and used a separate gluten free pan, the second person put on toppings without changing gloves and then used the same pizza cutter as the other pizzas - I wasn’t able to catch him to ask him if there was a separate cutter or if I could leave it unsliced. If you are not sensitive to cross contamination, they have both a gluten free vegan crust and a gluten free cauliflower crust and are open late if you need something in a pinch.
