This is my daughter’s favorite place since being diagnosed. It’s perfect for kid friendly food and they have the best chicken fingers ever, with or without gluten.

Fav go-to place as a symptomatic celiac! 🤗 There’s a dedicated gluten-free fryer! Items are clearly marked on the menu✅

So incredibly disappointed to have to update this review. They removed the markings from the menu. Now all you that is marked are the salads. Not even the eggs or breakfast meats have a gf label. Instead you are supposed to ask your server, which is obviously not Celiac safe. I tried asking my teenaged server anyway and was told “oh most stuff can be made with GF bread, so you can just pick and I’ll mark it”. That’s scary right there. No acknowledgement at all of other ingredients that could be an issue. I am really hoping this is an oversight that can be rectified. What a huge step back for a place we thought of as a safe zone.

Old review:
They use bread from taffets in so. Philly. It’s very good. We get all the sws on the gf bread as opposed to the rolls which crumble. The chicken cheese steak is killer as is the honeymoon chicken. The fries are great, particularly the sweet potato. They come with a yummy remoulade. Get extra. We don’t love the pancakes, they are like cornbread cakes. But they custom sandwiches on the excellent toast, the sautéed spinach is excellent. Just make sure you tell them what’s GF.

We eat here often. They have a lot of options (not labeled on the menu so you have to ask what they can make gf). Mini pancakes, French toast, grilled cheese, and French fries are just some of the choices. We were a bit disappointed after receiving our bill last visit because they charged us a lot to make everything gf. The grilled cheese was $3.50 extra to make it gf. The fries were extra to be cooked in gf fryer. Etc. I of course understand a small up charge for gf items, BUT we paid more than $20 in gf up charges for a family of 3.

A wonderful family dining experience with almost everything on the menu available as gluten free.
Separate Fryer for reduction in possible cross contamination, very experienced server with excellent knowledge of potential gluten issues and trained kitchen staff in preventing issues.
We were a party of 17, at least three of which who could not tolerate gluten. Pancakes, French toast, chicken fingers and a turkey sandwich were ordered gluten free. All enjoyed their meals and no side effects were noted.
The overall service was excellent and the prices for all of the food very reasonable.
This was the third time our family has enjoyed the Pop Shop and will not hesitate to continue to select them for our family parties.

I’ve been here twice in the last two months and both times (with different waitresses) they asked several times during my order and then confirmed again when the food came out that it was gf. They also suggested menu items that I didn’t see listed (gf bun instead of bread and crispy gf chicken tenders for a sandwich). They take things very seriously here and I felt safe eating!

I ordered gluten free chicken tenders and GF French fries. I was able to mark as an allergy and paid $1 extra for the GF fries.
The chicken tenders with honey mustard were delish and the fries came with a blue topped toothpick to designate allergy. The fries were great! Loved the shoestring style with flakier salt. So good!
We ordered online for pickup and it was easy to designate gluten allergy and the staff confirmed the items were gluten free at pick up.

Amazing spot for lunch with such tasty bread and a dedicated fryer! They had GF chicken tenders when I was there, so I was able to have a GF chicken parm sandwich with fries. It was all delicious and felt very safe - they delivered my food separately from the other people at my table eating gluten. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We took my celiac daughter there today and had a great experience! They have a lot of GF options, probably the most for a restaurant in my area. She had GF chicken fingers, fries, and ice cream. Staff was knowledgeable about GF options.

The Pop Shop in Collingswood New Jersey is very knowledgeable and takes care of anyone who has a gluten allergy or sensitivity to Gluten. I have Celiac Disease and had a great meal with no issues. Although they do not have a separate gluten free menu, they can modify most items on the menu to be gluten free. The grilled cheese with Chicken and Avocado made with gluten free bread was excellent and they have a dedicated fryer for French fries that were awesome! Most places do not have a dedicated fryer so to get awesome gf fries was a real trea!
The staff is excellent! I would highly recommend this to everyone as the food is excellent and I have no concerns for eating here with celiac disease.
Thanks to the Pop Shop and all the staff for a great gluten free meal!

I ordered the gluten free pancakes. If you like corn bread, you’ll love their pancakes! The service isn’t always the best, but it’s not too big of a problem.

Delicious gluten free french fries!!! They do have a dedicated fryer and most sandwiches, pancakes, and other gluten products can be made gluten free. Very knowledgeable.

Servers aren't always knowledgeable, but they will get answers for you. We go often since they have a dedicated fryer and decent options - all grilled cheese and sandwiches can be made on GF bread, GF fries, salads, and GF chicken fingers. Plus, ice cream sundaes afterward! :)

Server had no idea what was gluten free on the menu. I have celiac.
Food tasted good however my daughter with celiacs had a reaction even though we were told it’s gluten free. My guess is cross contamination

Amazing! So many choices! They are also dairy free friendly and really careful about nut allergies. The service is great, too. Super impressed!
Just ate here for the first time since being diagnosed with Celiac. The waiter was knowledgeable and answered my questions thoroughly. I had the grilled cheese (the GF bread was regular sized!!) and fries and they were great! I would definitely go here again!

Almost everything on the menu is gluten free! They have separate fryers. We enjoyed lobster grilled cheese, chicken+bacon grilled cheese, breaded chicken fingers, and French fries. They ran out of the gf pancackes or we would have had that too ♥

So accommodating to us! Even brought out ingredients of items they questioned.
I was ok with an omlet but on a 2nd visit I ordered French toast. Got sick. I've never gone back.
