Great selection on their separate GF menu. It was hard to choose! We went for breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were GREAT! Bought a few dessert to go!

The atmosphere and the food are disappointing. It’s GF but again, not worth the trip, we were the only diners and still couldn’t get the sever to pay atttention. Bottled juice was warm and such a planet killer, had I known they served that way I would have opted for water.

Love this place!!! Got gluten free french toast, sausages, and a peanut butter chocolate chip muffins and a chocolate chip cookies. So delicious and they gave me so much confidence that their gf items are all prepared in a designated space. They serve the gf food on a round plate instead of square to differentiate it from gluten food.

I can not say enough great things about this place!! The food is amazing, the wait staff and owner are not only knowledgeable but so friendly. The interior is so eclectic, it’s like eating in your own home (on one side, and a small diner on the other) I love that they have order/pickup service, and they have a small bakery! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were immediately asked about food allergies, the owner explained that meals are plated differently so that the gluten-free is easily identifiable, the menu was fabulous

This place blew me away. They have a regular menu, a gluten free menu, AND a separate vegan menu which is already gluten free. The owner is just like me and has a gluten and dairy allergy- she makes a special dinner every week and even has vegan gf Mac and cheese plus a ton of other goods, including vegan baked goods. The owner works 85 hours a week and you can taste her hard work in her food. It is filling and delicious and I have never seen so much variety in a menu. It’s not your average breakfast / lunch. They have creative dishes that I personally think are a lot better than the famous vegan places in the city of Boston like veggie galaxy. I will be coming here forever from now on!

The staff had explained how they dedicated their kitchen to being gluten free and vegan except there the gluten bread and gluten pancake mix ,she only adds water to make them.

My son loves the Purple Rooster Cafe. He is always thrilled with his large chocolate chip pancake and delicious bacon. The waitresses always ask if we have any dietary restrictions, and my four-year-old feels empowered to ask for his gluten free choices. Sometimes it takes a while for the food to come out because it is all freshly (and safely) prepared. We have eaten gluten free, dairy free and gluten dishes here, and all members of our family have been satisfied.

Eat here. Delicious! Full breakfast, lunch, and goodies! Waitress was awesome. Asked about dietary issues right away. Took it upon herself to check which goodies were gluten and dairy free!

I’m so thrilled to have found this place. The owner/baker is gluten-free and so completely understands and follows strict separation of any gluten free food. The menu was really extensive and the breakfast sandwich I got was delicious. Baked goods are all gluten free as well. I’ll definitely be back!

My first time here and will definitely return when I am in the area! We were asked if we were both GF and I indicated just me. They have an extensive gluten free menu including pancakes, french toast, grilled cheese, and pizza. I am not used to having so many options for GF items, so I was very happy about the selection. When I placed my order, the waitress was sure to say "And, your gluten free order?" I noticed on her order pad, she made a clear "Gluten free" section to separate my order from my non-GF son's order. I had the chocolate chip pancakes, which were huge and very fluffy. They were delicious and did not have that grainy texture that most GF items have. My son (who has no dietary restrictions) also loved his meal. I can't wait to go back!

I am so glad I found this little gem! My daughter, who has celiac disease, is highly sensitive to cross contamination and both times we've gone she has had no reaction. The owner herself is sensitive to cross contamination and uses separate cook ware for gluten free I learned after speaking with her. The staff are sensitive to the awareness of celiac and gluten free as well as super friendly. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is cute and cozy. I 100 percent reccommend this place!

This place was FANTASTIC! I got s delicious gf quesadilla. I also got two desserts. A muffin and a brownie. The staff was wicked nice and knowledgeable. I'm lucky I don't live closer or I'd lose my entire paycheck to this place. They also have options for vegans. :)

Had such a great experience with my kids this morning! My daughter (3yrs old) is celiac and was so excited that she could order anything off her "special" menu! Her French toast was delicious as was mine (I ordered from the regular menu). Service was fantastic as well! Can't wait to go back!

GREAT Find! The owner is GF therefore is extremely diligent on taking caution to not cross contaminate. So happy we found this place, I can feel comfortable my daughter will not get sick after dinning. The 2nd best part is you’re not paying $11-15 for GF Pancakes. It’s all served at NORMAL prices and the food is outstanding!

Best GF breakfast around! Service is always great. They have separate GF menus for adults and kids that include both the basics as well as some creative options. As a celiac, we have never had an issue after eating here.

We met my parents here to celebrate my daughter's birthday - both my kids (8 and 10) are Celiac. When I told my son that he could order "ANYTHING" on the menu his eyes just about popped out of his head and his jaw dropped. The waitress was amazing - first question was if anyone had allergies. Love the kitchy-ness of the place: mis-matched mugs, old airline flatware - very fun. My kids both had GF pancakes, a rare treat when eating out. They also split a tasty GF pumpkin/cinnamon chip muffin - we had to order a couple to take home! Our non-GF food was delicious, too. Plenty of hot coffee refills and they even had warm apple cider for the kids. It's a 1/2 hour drive for me, an hour for my parents, and we will be meeting at the Purple Rooster Cafe again as soon as we can! My son already has it planned for his birthday in February (although I want to go before that!). Well done and thanks for making our visit worry-free! Happy kids, happy parents :-)

This place is out of this world amazing. When we sat down, we were greeted politely and asked if we needed any gluten free menus. The gluten free menu is HUGE! It includes muffins, sandwiches, grilled cheese, French toast, pancakes, bread, as well as traditionally gluten free items (eggs, bacon, homefries, etc). I ordered a muffin and gluten free apple cinnamon French toast, and both were absolutely DELICIOUS. Everyone there is friendly and seems to be extremely knowledgeable about celiac, gluten free food, cross contamination, etc. The cafe is cute with a homey atmosphere and service was excellent. I can't say enough good things about this place- if you get the chance, GO!

Food was good and we were happy with the options, which included breads and pancakes. However the service was extremely slow considering it wasn't full. Took over 20 minutes to get our food after waiting over 15 to order. Seemed like they were making one tables food at a time.
