Review of The Purple Rooster Cafe

My first time here and will definitely return when I am in the area! We were asked if we were both GF and I indicated just me. They have an extensive gluten free menu including pancakes, french toast, grilled cheese, and pizza. I am not used to having so many options for GF items, so I was very happy about the selection. When I placed my order, the waitress was sure to say "And, your gluten free order?" I noticed on her order pad, she made a clear "Gluten free" section to separate my order from my non-GF son's order. I had the chocolate chip pancakes, which were huge and very fluffy. They were delicious and did not have that grainy texture that most GF items have. My son (who has no dietary restrictions) also loved his meal. I can't wait to go back!
