Amazing! This place has a wonderful menu, lots of choices clearly marked on the menu, a knowledgeable staff, and the food is SO GOOD! There’s many drink options too, like hard cider etc.

Super cautious while preparing my food to ensure a great eating experience. I didn’t feel sick at all after eating and the wait staff was super understanding. They asked what measures would be best for them to take due to them not all being aware of what celiac was.

Spoke with the manager who informed me that the chips are not GF. This affects most of the menu marked GF as there are chips served with most of the items. Thankfully they did have corn tortillas for fajitas. Beware of GF distinctions on menu and ask questions.

LIP-SMACKING & GLUTEN-FREE IN BENZONIA! They are usually pretty knowledgable about what’s safe for gluten-free. Most items are marked clearly on their menu...HOWEVER, if you order something that comes with rice, the Mexican rice is NOT GLUTEN-FREE. They’re usually good about substituting another side though. They cook their own chips in fresh oil at the beginning of their day, so the chips are safe with salsa and queso (yay!!). This is a great option if you’re gluten-free in NW Michigan! Be prepared to wait if you’re dining in, but takeout is pretty speedy. You’ll just have to keep trying to call, because they don’t have call-waiting and you can’t call until after 4 PM.
