We chose to go here due to the positive reviews here. At first I wasn't sure they knew what I needed, but then the waitress took great care of me. She brought out my salad first and my entre first to make sure it had the right care taken. I got the ribeye with baked potato. They did not have GF buns or a dedicated fryer for French fries, but the food was delicious and the service and atmosphere was great.

We ended up in Hayward for a night when we arrived a day too early to our Airbnb, so we were all in horrible moods. Thankfully our waitress Morgan was amazing and the Steakhouse had a gluten free bun for my incredible Lumberjack Reuben, and also had gluten free French fries, which was a pleasant surprise. Though we had a really rough start to our day, our day ended very nicely and I was very happy with my meal here. The only thing to be aware of is that the online menu had more information on the GF buns than the physical menu did.

All of their steak seasonings are gluten-free. The staff are very accommodating and familiar with gluten allergies. If you’re looking for steak in Hayward, this is a great option.
