This place was not open. You could see tables all set up, There was a gate to the parking lot with a chain and lock around it. We had called, and the voice mail confirmed the hours and everything but it was not open. There were no signs explaining if there was a temp problem or permanently closed and the voicemail was clearly not correct.
For lunch I had the wild boar stew over a fried polenta which was delicious; seriously really good. The have a few items marked as GF, not extensive but enough options to be happy. Recommend asking if what is shown as GF is always so or if it needs to be prepared to be. The menu mentions they are willing to accommodate allergies. How well that would translate to truly GF I don't know but in the end I wasn't sick afterward and very happy with the food.
The food was good and the menu had GF options that I could select from. I had wild boar stew and it was very good. The waitress asked if I wanted GF bread with balsamic reduction and olive oil. Not to often do I get to have bread! I enjoyed it.
I was in SLC for a conference and ate here twice because I loved it so much. One of the servers has celiac and they were able to make the pastas with quinoa (not crappy GF pasta). The wine was great and the food was out of this world. I highly recommend the Boar's meat stew and the Brussels sprouts. The service was outstanding and if I could have gone again I would have.
