Had a bunless burger (gluten free was an option) and was advised that the fries weren’t safe due to being cooked in oil containing gluten. Had no issues :)

Ordered a bunless burger (to save some money) and fries and informed the waitress of my Celiac Disease. Shortly after ordering the manager came out and said “I see you have a gluten allergy and I’m not sure how severe it is but we have a shared frier.” I was so thankful she was so knowledgeable and caught it. She offered another, safe side. The waitress then came back and apologized for not catching it herself and said she was new. I felt very safe eating there and did not get sick.

Lovely burgers and Mathew the waiter was so so friendly. They have a glutenfree bun which is lovely and most of the toppings are possible for celiacs.

The menu was mark with Gluten-Free options. Per our waitress the fries are not gluten free because they don't have a dedicated fried. There for fries, chips and poutine are NOT gluten free.
But would I go back again?? Probably not unless I just couldn't find anything else to eat. The burger was very bland and tasteless. But the service was very good.
The staff was knowledgeable on what was gluten-free on their menu. However, in the gluten-free section of the menu, they mention a gf beer that is NOT gf.
Great GF buns and poutine is all GF! Great service, too.
Yes
Gluten free buns. However they claim their fries and chips are gluten free while they fry them in the same fryer as onion rings and other gluten containing items. Unacceptable.
No
They have a dedicated fryer and poutine gravy is GF. Waiter was not sure but checked with kitchen staff who confirmed

BEST FRIES IN NEWMARKET. They have a great lunch deal, $15 for a burger, side and pop. The burger was 4oz I believe, but it was the right size for a filling lunch. Their fries are bottomless, and I could not get enough of them. Crispy and salty, but still very potatoey. Our waitress let us know they’re fried in a dedicated fryer, and are cut in house. Their gluten free bun wasn’t my favourite, and fell apart a little, but $1.50 up charge wasn’t the best. They serve the pop in measuring cups, which was neat, and very fizzy. I highly recommend stopping by. The onion rings are very crispy, an extra $4 and not gluten free, but you can hear a very audible crunch.
