Daughter could only have plain rice or salad. At 9years old not super exciting options. We did not stay.

There isn’t much to choose from and the items are only marked gluten sensitive. Wait staff said these items could be made gluten free. Chose a salmon special that was supposed to be gf to find out salmon was marinated and not gf. They were to sub out another fish. Runner brought regular fish dish, so it had to go back. They remade fish safely. They worked to see that I could eat safely which was great but I don’t think I’d go again. Too difficult and not many choices.

Not a lot of GF options on the menu but I sat at the bar and the bartender was able to work with me. I ordered the catch of the day sandwich no bun side rice side salad. Combined it all and it make a really awesome meal for a hungry celiac.

The cocktails were delicious and items were marked GF on menu. I had the guava ribs, but did have to ask about the deep fryer since fries came with it. They subbed rice instead once I mentioned I couldn’t eat the fries if they shared a deep fryer with breaded items.

My husband and I came here twice while in Oahu. The first time was for happy hour and meeting up with family. We ordered cocktails and Pupus and the others in our party ordered Pupus, dinner and dessert. Everything tasted good. I wish they had more gluten-free options. I tried the fries, which were good. The second time we came just the two of us to get dessert and cocktails. I was disappointed that I could not get a mudside but our two waitresses talk to the bartender and they tried to come up with something as close to a mud side as possible. It was basically a piña colada with some chocolate syrup. It was OK. I appreciated the efforts but it did not satisfy my craving. For the dessert we ordered the pineapple crème brûlée. It was delicious but I had a better one in Maui. My husband preferred Tikkis better…

I absolutely loved the service. My waiter was well informed about all things gluten-free. They were very accommodating, and I had the Teppanyaki Pacific Pink Snapper, which on the menu says gluten sensitive. That doesn’t mean that the dish itself is safe. It means that they can modify the dish to make it safe. I asked for mine to be cooked on tinfoil, and my waiter informed me of everything they were changing (which was quite a few items), and my dish was delicious! When they brought our food, the food runner said that everything on my plate was safe and that all the precautions had been taken. I would recommend coming here 100%!

The worst GF experience of our trip to HI. Long story short...I had a beet salad (and even that made me nervous!). Little to no confidence anyone knew what was going on. BONUS: we received a trash bag to take home our leftovers!

I was losing hope trying to find gluten free on the island. I took a shot at Tikis and it’s a tad confusing. On their menu there are options listed as “gluten sensitive” so I wasn’t sure if that meant I could or couldn’t have it. I told the waiter I’m celiac and asked what I could eat. He wasn’t sure so he asked the chef. I guess gluten sensitive meant I couldn’t have it? Which is confusing because it was listed next to some salads that should totally be gluten free. The waiter saw my confusion and told me he will talk the chef again. He came back and said the chef will make me something special instead. I legit almost started crying. I got some fresh salmon with green beans served on white rice. It sounds plain but it was perfect. I’m so happy the waiter went above and beyond to accommodate me and that the chef went out of his way to make me something special. Oh and the drinks were great too. I will probably eat here the rest of the trip.

This is located on the 2nd floor of the Aston Waikiki hotel near the Honolulu Zoo. My son had a gluten free grilled cheese with salad and I had an excellent cheese burger. Fries are not done in a dedicated fryer so for $1.00 more I had some excellent fruit substituted. We did not try but they even had some GF desserts. Everything was marked on menu. Great view of the beach and ocean as well.
Yes
Tried the butterfish and a crab salad. Really yummy, no issues and fast service
Yes
Had the butter fish for dinner and no issues. Would order it again.
Yes
Staff were knowledgeable and very accommodating. I was able to adjust kids meals to be GF. No seperate for chips though, so we had rice and vegetables as the side. Food was delicious!
Yes
Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Asked what my restrictions were and offered options that fit them.
Ate here twice and both times staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and informative about how the items were made. Not a ton Of options but loved the Thai Chicken Salad I came back twice!
Yes
Hannah was our server and very reassuring. Whatever was decided, she went back to the kitchen to check with the chef. Had the lettuce wrap and switched out the beef (flour) to the chicken. Comes with rice noodles, kim chee. If you’re vegetarian, they’ll sub for tofu. Didn’t like my cocktail, she removed it from the bill and let the bartender have creative control! You’ll have a great experience here! When you make revs.ask to sit outside at the deck if you like entertainment. ASK FOR HANNAH!
Yes
Went for lunch. There is only appetizer, 2 salads, and 1 entree that were gluten free. Had green papaya salad with chicken that was delicious, but didn’t get full. Oh well, at least I didn’t get sick!
AMAZING veggie burger (vegan) and gf bread. They had the chef fill out dietary forms and knew a lot about celiac.
Yes
The waiter was a little stressful because he didn’t really tell me what their precautions were, but he said they had to go through a lot of paperwork with the kitchen and manager and had a whole process for celiac disease. I’m only giving four stars because there weren’t a ton of GF options on the lunch menu and while the watermelon salad was absolutely amazing, it was really small. I also got the molten lava cake for dessert and it was absolutely delicious!
Yes
Good choices and knowledgeable staff. Had the duck dish and it was very good !
Yes
The waiter explained for allergies they have a form they fill out that gets signed by the manager and chef. Ate here twice and got the guava ribs both times. They were great and I didn't get sick.
Yes
Okay, but it has limited option and no substitutions. My feeling is they serve pre-packaged food here.
Delicious, "insta"-worthy food, overlooking Waikiki beach, at mainland prices (mostly). Our server Timothy knew to advise us about the shared fryer before we even asked (after mentioning Celiac). There is an "inside" dinner menu and a "Lanai" bar menu; the dinner menu obviously is bigger but there are GF options on the bar menu, too. (Try the guava ribs, they're great!) Often have live music on the lanai, too. FYI: it's not obvious from the menus, but you can order the fancy drinks without the souvenir glasses (slightly cheaper).
Yes
tasted great. had breakfast
Gluten free offerings clearly marked on menu. However, there were only 4 options available for lunch, 3 of which were salads. Watermelon salad was good, but would have liked more to choose from.
Ate here multiple times during our vacation. Even though menu states something is gluten free, it might not be. I found they do not have a dedicated fryer, so even their corn chips were not safe. Luckily our server; Kai was great. He was very knowledgable and also double checked with kitchen to make sure meal would be safe. He also made recommendations for substitutions to guarantee meal would be gluten free. If not for Kai, I would have only given 3-4 stars.
Small menu but the items were marked GF. Rib appetizer was really good.
Ate here many times while on vacation with no issues. love the gluten free bun.
Some GF options available, somewhat knowledgeable staff. Had a grilled fish with taro pure, quite tasty. I do not show symptoms so hard to tell.
Yes
Was very good. Didn't get sick. 😃 I had a turkey burger on a gluten free bun. Only down side was the fries are not gluten free. Also at breakfast here with no problems.
Yes
No dedicated fryer for the fries, according to our waiter (unlike another reviewer said). Very limited menu options for GF, but I was glad they had them already on there. Friendly staff and great views.
Excellent GF ribs and fries (cooked in a dedicated fryer) with an ocean view!
Yes
It was wonderful! Hostess knowledgeable as was server. Menu options aren't huge (about 5) but they were delicious!!!!
Yes
Not a ton of gluten free options but they are clearly labeled on the menu and the salad I had was delicious!
I just had the short ribs, but they were delicious and didn't make me sick. Great waitress and great place to watch the sunset.
Yes
Very helpful wait staff. The items that are GF are delicious and the prices are reasonable. Very kid friendly as well.
Yes
GF items starred on menu. Staff knowledgeable about Celiac vs GF diet. Waiter even checked several times to make sure I wasn't reacting. Great food, great location.
