Excellent! Server had a chart in her folio that indicated each item on menu with allergy/contents. GF was one category. There were two starters that are 100% GF with no cross contamination. Soup (clam chowder) is not GF. Kale salad is wonderful and GF. I enjoyed a beef entree. They have GF rolls — not many places do. The rolls are toasted and warmed. The server was knowledgeable of GF and GF due to celiac. Two desserts, both ice cream, are GF. No GF menu, but server, chef, and manager are knowledgeable. I saw other complaints about small menu for GF. It’s true — because the menu isn’t large to start. Four or five starters, one soup, two salads, one chicken entree, two beef entrees, three fish/seafood entrees, and one pasta entree. Five sides. Five desserts. Fries and Brussel sprouts are not celiac-friendly due to cross contamination with fryer. But, there are GF options. Highly recommend.
It’s safe and I wasn’t glutened. My waiter was really awesome, knew about celiac, and went out of his way to make my experience positive. But unfortunately there just wasn’t much on the menu I could eat (no sides, 1 entree, etc.). Also, they don’t have a dedicated fryer, unlike elsewhere in Disney. Kind of a bummer.
Staff very unaware and ignorant of celiac disease. Including manager. I asked about one of the salads on the menu that had “crunchy” in the word, which usually indicates deep-fried. I inquired if it was made in the same fryer as gluten items, and waiter said “should be fine, I mean, how serious is it, really.” 🙄I should’ve left at that point, but had my kids with me, and it was late. I asked him to check with the manager on what was safe, since nothing on menu is marked. I saw him chatting with manager. He came back to the table and manager said “salad SHOULD be fine. Crunch not gluten.” Not convinced, I ordered only fresh fish items. When the food finally arrived (it took over 45 minutes), the waiter said it was a good thing I didn’t order the salad, because chef told him the crunchy bits were indeed fried in gluten contaminated oil. So, manager is clueless. If the manager is unaware, how could he train his staff? The portions were also tiny, and overpriced. Very disappointing. Do NOT here if you have celiac.
Menu not marked gf. They say they accommodate but that just means telling you that 95 percent of the menu you can't have. They are willing to leave off sauces and you can have plain.
Evidently new chef doesn't like GF options. We made reservations there since I had eaten there on a previous trip. My first notice was that when I told them I was GF they said "Your server will be able to help you with your options". Our server was great and very apologetic about the lack of choices for me. Here were my choices... From the appetizer list a choice of the 2 salads and then the entree list my only choice was the fresh fish. Very disappointed with this and the cost of the meal was $$$. In my opinion choose another place to eat
I ate here with friends in the lounge area. They have a great happy hour and lounge menu, but had VERY little gluten free options on both of these menus. Of course, I could spend $30+ and order an entree from the fine dining menu, but they need to have more options for the happy hour/lounge menu.
Absolutely love eating here. They have a gluten free menu, the chef will also come out and discuss the menu. The waiters are very knowledgeable. And the food is AMAZING!
