I 10/10 recommend as a celiac ◡̈ I was nervous about cross contamination after reading some of these reviews, but I had an amazing experience!!! There was a separate gf menu, our waitress was super knowledgeable on how the gf items were prepared differently and the portions were huge!!!

They are trying, but kitchen is very small making cc a risk. They indicate a lot as GF, but anything fried is in a shared fryer. They don’t have a separate gf waffle maker; same places used to make gf and gluten pancakes due to space limitations. I was told they don’t have a separate toaster for gf toast, but seems others have been told otherwise. Best to confirm yourself. I’d say they are catering to gluten intolerant vs. Celiac.

HUGE gluten free menu! So many tasty options to choose from and the portions are giant considering the price. You do not want to miss this place! It's super cute and a great experience. The server informed me they have a shared fryer and said that I would need tho get my breakfast potatoes pan-fried to avoid cross contamination. They have gf toast, and the pancakes are gf.

This place has a great gluten free menu, almost all of the options on the regular menu could be made gluten free. There is no designated gluten free fryer so if you are celiac you cannot have the fries but other than that a great restaurant. Be warned they have very big portions so there is no need to order an appetizer and a main dish. The appetizers are main dish size. I had the catfish and it was a little spicy but it was cooked perfectly and didn’t taste like general fishy fish

Large gluten free menu with breakfast, lunch and dessert item. Tons of options including pancakes, waffles, GF bread, sandwiches etc.. not just your typical salads :)
Knowledgable about Celiac disease. Would recommend :)

Good service, good food, gluten free menu, and waitress wrote down that I have Celiacs. I felt very safe eating here.

Gluten free pancakes! And many other breakfast options. They made it in a frying pan so it wasn’t on the grill with everything else when I asked. Make sure to get clarification on cooking menus because some items listed on gluten free menu are not safe for celiacs (they only have one waffle maker for instance).
I have celiac and didn’t get sick.

Our family of four went for dinner. 2 are celiac. The waitress was not completely knowledgeable of celiac and cross contamination but went and spoke to manager and chef to see what would be the safest. Said chef would cook items we wanted in separate pan instead of grill. She also said chef said another dish I asked about (Jambalaya) would be safest choice, from my questions, as it is all completely made in its own pan. So, I chose the jambalaya because it was safe … it was VERY good. It came with gf bread on side - they gave a separate toaster. Other celiac had blackened snapper (chef cooked in separate pan instead of grill).,, this was good but Spicy!! If you don’t like spice go for the lemon. They had a gluten free turtle cheesecake for dessert. Meal portions are very big and very good. We both felt well and loved our meals. NO gf fryer and lots on gf menu not safe for celiac as cooked on shared grill … just ask and chef what can made in pan instead of shared grill

Had Gluten friendly Egg and bacon breakfast here, they don’t understand about cross contamination. I told the waitress I have Celiac disease and gluten creates serious sickness in me. I left there and was violently I’ll. If you have Celiac Disease you should avoid eating here

Went with pancakes as they don't have a separate waffle iron for GF. Delicious! Plus large GF menu! (Separate from regular menu)

Enjoyed breakfast here this morning. Huge portions. Do not have a special waffle iron for GF so I went with an omelette. They do have a separate toaster for gf bread. Great service.

Have eaten breakfast here a few times when visiting Banff. Wait staff have all been great and very coeliac aware. Food is awesome too!

Celiac hubby and I come here for brunch often. No dedicated fryer but they do hash browns in a separate pan for you. Most servers very knowledgeable and helpful. Ketchup is not safe (May contain wheat). Overall a fun place for brunch that we keep coming back to.
Yes
My family all enjoyed their meals here, and they have a separate GF menu that says to let the waiter know if you have celiac. Waiter seemed very accommodating for celiac but then brought my meal with a piece of cornbread on the same plate, then apologized and removed it, and was confused when I said I couldn't eat the meal because the bread had touched it. Waiter was then very nice and brought me another one without cornbread. So you should be safe here, but make sure to explain your needs carefully.

Unfortunately we waited for 45 minutes to be seated because our kids were sooo excited to eat GF waffles only to discover they are cooked on the same waffle iron as regular. Talk about disappointed children! I asked to speak with the chef and he could have cared less. Happy to see many options on their GF menu, but I don’t feel like it is necessarily Celiac Safe.
Not the best selection for GF, and a definite risk of cross contamination. No dedicated fryer. Service was ok.
Amazing gluten free breakfast options. Waited in line for 30 minutes, but so worth the wait. Told staff about Celiac needs and they were very helpful. Almost everything was Celiac friendly except the waffles where they could not guarantee cross contamination. Had the French toast and it was delicious. Recommend it highly!

Waitress knew to ask whether I was gluten aware or celiac and made a note for the chef. The gf toast wasn’t awesome but it usually isn’t!

Great gluten-free pancakes and skillet potatoes! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!
Such great food! We went for dinner and brunch. They take reservations for dinner, but breakfast and brunch can be a bit of a free for all — first come, first serve with a line that can run down the block. We went at 10 am on a Monday and only waited 15 minutes. The pancakes were delicious as was the gumbo. Knowledgeable staff, extensive GF menu, excellent food!

Had the seafood platter that came with crab, scallops, mushrooms, and prawns and everything was quite tasty.. the crab was perfect.
We also shared the jambalaya, which was really tasty.
The staff was knowledgable and gave us some gf bread with it.
Would definately go back. Want to try breakfast but I'm a bit concerned about cross contamination on the waffles or pancakes based on other reviews. I did not think to ask about their procedures when I was there.

My daughter had a burger and fries. She loved it! The staff was extremely knowledgeable about Celiac’s.

Separate large gluten free menu! Food was absolutely delicious! Huge portions! They were incredibly accommodating with my other food allergies as well.
Flavorful food! Loved the spice and options!
Came here 3 times on vacation! They have separate GF menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And the menus are pretty big!!! I had gluten free pancakes, toast, and jambalaya. They note which items could be cross contaminated by the deep fryer and they are super knowledgeable about it! When I got my menu they explained everything I could have if I was avoiding gluten vs if I had celiac

Well, I left a great review after my delicious breakfast French toast experience. We then decided to try dinner...That was my best idea that I have had in weeks. I ordered the Taste of 'Nawlins. BOOM! Taste explosion. It's Cajun food and I haven't been able to order that from a restaurant in YEARS. Spicy-check, Great tasting crawfish, sausage and shrimp-Check. Going back before I leave -check. I haven't had their lunch yet! If possible make dinner reservations, so you don't have to wait. Very accommodating if you let them know your needs.
Awesome service! Wonderful local place to find gluten free. Ask for their gluten friendly menu. They don't have a dedicated frier so don't get anything fried. My son and I shared the steak and Caesar salad. We had no reactions. Support local!
We heard that this place rocks for breakfast but we never got up early enough to make it there. However, we did have lunch which was very good. My wife loved her lunch so much (and was so hungry) that she ordered another dish to try. We had a very GF knowledgeable server and they had no problems accommodating for my wife's Celiac disease and dairy allergy.

DELICIOUS gluten free pancakes and waffles. My fiancé was so happy to finally have a good waffle that wasn't overly heavy, but nice and fluffy. Don't know what their secret is, but this is THE PLACE to eat celiac in Banff for breakfast.

Delicious GF pancakes !!!
Delicious gluten free pancakes! You have to ask for the gluten free menu.
Great pancakes! Great atmosphere! Large gf menu to choose from. The waitstaff was knowledgeable too. Tip: if you are Celiac, like me, stay away from the waffles. They are made on the same waffle maker as the non-gf. Our server warned me away from it before I could have had a problem.
When I traveled here, I had items from the brunch menu. They have plenty of options for gf. The wait for a table and for food was a little bit too long (30minutes) but the servings were giant and good for the price. They had pancakes, belgian waffles, and french toast with several options.
No
Great GF pancakes! Not a separate grill.
