This Bakery is completely gluten free allowing coeliacs to eat there aswell. absolutely delicious! they make everything GF, if you haven’t had a pie in a couple years definitely try theirs :))

We really don't understand the hype around this place. Love that it's dedicated GF, that's a hard ask and it's amazing to have options. Unfortunately, we've been twice and both times everything has been hard and so dry it was basically inedible. Some items we threw out after a couple bites. One visit was Oct 2023, the other December 2019.

We've tried croissants, donuts, bread, and biscuits.

I have been here twice to get a hot pie and both times the pies were freezing cold in the middle. Also the pies just fall apart but I guess that's normal for gluten free. Last time I went there and got a loaf of bread. I feel like vogels six seed is much nicer and cheaper too. I don't know if I'll go back. I probably won't. I feel like having a bakery with no gluten doesn't really work. There are plenty of other foods that are ok with no gluten but not really a bakery.

I appreciate they had many options and at mid-day maybe the demand had beaten me to anything nice so a dry pie was about the only decent option. The layout was a bit odd and the service made me feel like an inconvenience.

Okay. Is dedicated GF which is great but quite expensive and hit and miss with how good they are.

I almost didn't go, and that would've been a mistake. The hot cross buns were amazing, and so were the ANZAC cookies. It was hard not try everything

They don't take credit cards, so be sure to bring cash with you.

Nice bakery. For all tourists I iterate the comment that they only take cash, no foreign credit/debit cards. They have a couple of pies and quiches as well

I was bought some of their baking and pies recently, i wanted to get excited, but not. The hot cross, lamingtons and pies were great, biscuits were very dry, could not bite through at all. They seemed over baked. Would try again

Lots of gluten free savoury and sweet options. As well as frozen take home items. We got pies, including a potato pie, donuts, cheese twists and cheese and bacon rolls.

A heads up to any international tourists they do not take international cards of any type including Wise Cards. Ensure you have New Zealand cash with you.

A treasure to behold. Wide variety of baked goods and helpful staff. Bought quiche muffins cookies and coffee cake to enjoy while traveling. Not disappointed

This facility only bakes gluten free product. The food is lovely, but VERY expensive.

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. The cake was Lemon, with lemon curd and buttercream filling. It was decorated perfectly and the texture and flavour was devine. The price was reasonable considering the great of quality of the product. Thankyou for beautiful food and great service.

Nice selection of sweet and savory items. If you are not a local, it is good to know that they do not accept credit cards. Luckily, the super friendly staff helped me sort out PayPal so I could stock up on provisions for my South Island adventures.

Dedicated GF shop. Everything sits around $6+ per item and multipacks $8-9+ with both fresh and frozen goods. Often there are samples next to bread items which i truly appreciate. I go once a week to pickup lamingtons, pesto bread rolls and usually some other sweet that takes my fancy.

Just love the safety of this place, so many options. The pies and sausage rolls are unfortunately not great but hard to compete with the taste of gluten filled pastry! We always stock up our freezer when we come here.

TGF is excellent! They cater to the GF community and are knowledgeable about food allergies. I had the chocolate chip cookies, which were ok, the cinnamon roll, which had a lot of flavor, and the mini chocolate donuts, which were the stars of the show. I loved that the donuts are bite sized and come in a resealable container. The donut itself has a slight crisp/crunch to the exterior so when you bite through the chocolate you get a bit of crunch-simply delicious!!!! A definite must for those with a GF sweet tooth.
