There's no gf menu here, and not many gluten free options besides salad, some shrimp dishes, and burger without a bun. I had a burger with no bun and at first ordered the Brussel sprouts as a side, but after being alerted they were fried went with my only other option, a side salad.
Ate Sunday brunch. $22 for Shrimp and Grits, marked GF on menu. Excellent food! Zero reaction (and I react fast!). Also, they had a jazz singer and guitar player tucked away in the corner. In true NOLA style, they were excellent. I will come back here for this dish and they had multiple other items marked GF on the menu.
Great food and they mark GF on the physical menu. Lots of good choices.
Very good gf menu. They were really busy but our waiter Tony was knowledgeable and attentive. The grilled spicy chili shrimp were awesome. The Wedge (salad) was very good. And the braised short rib with pepper jack grits was incredible! And I had no issues afterward. I will be back to try more and recommend this place to anyone who has Celiac!
They have a GF menu with many options. Beware: no dedicated fryer and the house salad comes with fried strips of sweet potato on top so make sure to tell them not to include those (they happily brought another salad when I told them about the problem). The four stars are because the app (escargots) was great, the entrée (seafood stew) was good. Also note the regular seafood stew includes a crab poboy but GF doesn't although same price. Ask for a side instead.
Ended up here looking for a reservation for a large party. No one had ever really heard of it before and we couldn't find any gf info online so went fully prepared to have some raw oysters and a salad. Was pleasantly surprised when the waiter offered us gluten free menus and said they accommodated often! We were 11 people so we got a oyster log for the table which was 6 of each kind of their cooked oysters and huge. We could have the chargrilled, garlic butter and pancetta with gruyere. All were good though chargrilled weren't as good as drago's (none are) and the garlic butter ones were the best. We also got a chargrilled lobster tail appetizer with a mirliton slaw which was very good and tried the cauliflower steak appetizer which another person in our party ordered and the waiter made gluten free so we could try too. For entrees, we got the fish of the day which was drum and good (though the potatoes were a little salty) and the CBD salad with grilled shrimp and a green goddess dressing which was delicious. There were plenty of other options including steak, lamb chops, "stinky stew" (their specialty but I think they serve it without the mini poboy), and a crab trio that many others at our table got and said was fantastic. We would definitely go again for a date night/special occasion.
