They were really good about my celiac. It helped my mom could talk to them in Spanish. Food was good

Went here for breakfast and it was just so-so. I wanted to try the tamales (they are supposedly amazing) but it was too early in the day. I am vegetarian, so ended up with a bowl of rice, beans & veggies. It was okay. There are gluten items on the menu and it's hard to say how careful they were.

I do not think they understand celiac disease. The man who I ordered from kept telling me there was no flour in the kitchen, but they have “sandwiches” as an entire menu section and I could see a cook handling flour tortillas from where I was standing. Because he was so insistent there was no flour in the kitchen—which there very obviously was—I couldn’t get a straight answer around safety measures. I took the risk and still ate there…and I should not have.
