They have a separate gluten sensitive menu with a healthy amount of choices. Our waitress was not a very good communicator but the manager was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. I had Thai Chicken with Rice Noodles. It was a very tender whole chicken breast sliced over Angel hair noodles glazed with sweet chile sauce and fresh sautéed vegetables on the side.
Ate here for the first time last weekend. They have a gluten sensitive menu. Some items are marked with a star to note that they are fried in a shared fryer with gluten items, so some cross contact is possible, but if you want one of those dishes, they can sautee instead.
I had miso soup and the sweet and sour shrimp. Both were delicious and it was so nice to have a meal out without worrying about getting sick.
I had a craving for Singapore Curry Noodles, but am so hesitant about ordering out due to my severe celiac issues. During a phone call, I felt good that the male who took my call understood my questions with gluten free and celiac. Right now, they are only doing take out orders and when I went to pick up my order, the woman I spoke to completely understood the difference and necessity between gluten sensitivity and celiac. While they do have gluten in the kitchen, the gluten sensitive menu items are not cooked with gluten items. So if you order a chicken and broccoli, it will always be gluten free, it's how it is made. My Singapore Curry Noodles were FABULOUS!! I'm so glad I challenged myself, I will be back to try other GF dishes! Thank You!
This place is awesome. Knowledgeable and friendly staff have a solid understanding of gluten ingredients, are respectful of food allergy and inspire high confidence that my food will be handled with care. Food might seem pricey for Chinese but what you get is truly top notch gourmet. More in line with PF Chang's then local take-out, but better than PF Chang's I think. Singapore rice noodles are AWESOME and I enjoy some of the GF chicken dishes over rice as well. I dine here frequently and have never had a gluten reaction. Just be sure to mention you need GF and they will take care of you.
I have been a frequent visitor of Tres Yan Wu for YEARS! Their food is delicious and consistent. I’ve never had a bad meal there. They have all GF options clearly marked on the menu. My personal favorites are the mango chicken and seafood friend rice! They’re a family run business and I’ve watched their children grow from babies into schoolchildren. If you go there often, they will definitely remember you and make you feel at home.
