Traveling for work, I’ve apparently become a regular in less than a week. I stopped eating food I haven’t personally prepared about 9 months ago (finally feeling healthy after three years of what I thought was a fairly strict GF diet), but there is only so much you can do living out of a hotel for a week. I have felt quite comfortable eating at Tula. This has been one of the few times since my diagnosis (4 years in January) that I have had a stress free dining experience.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They are quick to triple check things when you have questions or concerns.

The register is set up to prevent allergens. Items are blocked when allergies are input into the system.

A bit pricy, but reasonable. Affordable options are available and I’ve actually enjoyed those more than some of the pricier meals.

The meals here are well designed. A good combination of textures and flavors. The menu is quite broad, spanning quite a few regions with selections for everybody. There are options to cover everything from vegan to carnivore to pescatarian. Nothing seems to sit heavy, you can be full without feeling greasy and bloated. A welcome change to the majority of American style Italian, pizza, or only breaded and fried options that seem to dominate the menus in the area.

I’ll be back in the area two more times in the next month or so and this will be my primary source for dinner. There are enough options and differences in cuisine that I won’t get tired of eating here every night. I wish there were more places that took gluten free this seriously.
